"I booked twice to stay at this hotel because I wasn't allowed to modify my booking, even though my second booking meant my husband and I would stay longer at the hotel. My first booking was for November 29 to December 4, and because flights to Lisbon were much cheaper on November 26th than November 28th, I decided to take the earlier flight and therefore enjoy Lisbon a bit longer.
I was disappointed in the inconvenience of having to book a different room instead of being allowed to stay in the same room, not to mention the hassle of having to pack and unpack our stuff when we transferred rooms from the 12th floor to the 13th floor. But fortunately, our second room was much nicer than the first, even though the first one was slightly more expensive because it had a view of the river. The second room was newly decorated with tasteful interior design in blue, white, and gray, while the first had a tacky red padded leatherette headboard wall.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The wheelchair they lent us during our stay was new and sturdy, the breakfast food was decent, and the folks were friendly. The location was excellent, right next to the gorgeous train and bus station by Santiago Calatrava, a huge mall, and walking distance from the Expo area, the Fiera Internacional Lisboa, and two excellent restaurants - Honest Greens (best hummus we ever tasted, grilled veggies and salmon) and Butchers (grilled ribeye and lovely staff)."
