Because I care about hygiene and quality, I chose this hotel after a long time of selection, and I was not disappointed. As soon as I entered the lobby, it was very bright. The service of the staff was very warm and thoughtful. The room facilities were very new and clean, without any odor. The fragrance in the room was very good, especially the bathroom was very clean. The hotel breakfast in the morning was very good, the best breakfast on this trip. The category was very complete, and the user experience was very good. The hotel service was great. After checking out, I stayed in the lobby for a while and ate something. The lady at the front desk was super nice. She specially poured a glass of lemon water and asked me to take 2 more bottles of apricot peel water when I left. The overall experience was great! Come to Dunhuang to choose a hotel with good quality and high cost performance. You can choose this one. I strongly recommend it!

This is my second review of Silk Road YiJun Hotel—and I can confidently say it’s one of the best places to stay in Dunhuang. I initially booked a desert campsite for my last night but canceled upon arrival as it didn’t meet expectations. Needing a reliable solution, I returned to Silk Road YiJun, where the incredible **Xiaxia (小夏)** once again went above and beyond. Without hesitation, she researched alternatives and presented thoughtful options tailored to my needs. However, after my earlier booking disappointment, I chose to spend another night at the hotel—a decision I’m so glad I made! Hotel guests have free access to cherry tomatoes, yoghurts, coffee, minerals, sweets and Chinese tea at their convenience. The staff of the hotel are courteous and friendly. The staff are ready to provide information and guidance. Beside the hotel, there is a restaurant and Shazhou Night Market is 60 meters away. Convenience for shopping for local foods, souvenirs, and etc. Next to Shazhou Night Market is the Dunhuang Bazzar, where more 50 eatery stalls are available. Visitors are spolit for choices of food and it operates till midnight. Will stay at this hotel in our next visit to Dunhuang.

The free pickup shuttle is from another company to sell trips to tourist areas. The show and the 5-location trip to the west of silk road areas were good. They lied a bit about the availability of taxis though.

The hotel is in the city center, with a good location. Just a little further is the Dunhuang Night Market, which is very convenient for visiting the night market and Dunhuang City. The hotel has a free airport pick-up service. There is a bus at the bus stop at the door that goes directly to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake. The hotel is equipped with a parking lot, which is very convenient for self-driving travel. The rooms in the hotel are clean and tidy, with complete facilities. Disposable towels are provided, which is green and safe, and cleaned in time. It is very quiet at night and comfortable to live in. The buffet breakfast is rich in variety, the restaurant is spacious and clean, and the dining experience is good. The hotel is equipped with a self-service laundry room, which is also very convenient for washing clothes. The service staff is thoughtful, especially the two front desk attendants No. 3 and No. 11, who are warm, friendly, patient and meticulous. In short, the check-in experience is very good, and I recommend everyone to choose this hotel.

The service and other details of this inn are very good. It is the best inn I have stayed in during this trip to the west. The front desk staff will enthusiastically help with luggage and introduce the various facilities in the store. The starry sky ceiling in the room is also eye-catching. The taste of breakfast is no worse than that of other hotels and breakfast shops. It is a very good inn worth recommending.

The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of Shazhou Night Market and the Bouncing Pipa Statue. It is also very convenient to take a taxi to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake. The bus stop is nearby. An ideal starting point for shopping, eating and having fun! The front desk check-in is efficient, the staff is friendly, and they will answer any questions and provide practical travel suggestions. The cleaning ladies are also very good! The buffet breakfast is rich and combines Chinese and Western, with local specialties such as sauerkraut noodles and apricot skin water, which taste good. The room was spacious and bright, with separate wet and dry areas and a comfortable layout. It was fully equipped with a humidifier, mosquito repellent, a disposable toilet seat, and even noise-canceling earplugs. The owner seemed very attentive. The view from the third-floor terrace was great. Not only could you see Mingsha Mountain, but you could also catch a glimpse of the sunset through the trees. The clouds were magnificent and very pleasing to the eye. Overall, this is a very cost-effective hotel, and the experience was great.

Overall satisfied. Room is large enough and clean. Service was very good. Breakfast only Chinese choices, there are some bread and coffee but not considered as western breakfast. As it is in Dunhuang, not much expected and it was OK for few days. Only things we did not like were shower and spot light type light in the bathroom. Water flow of the shower was OK but the water temperature always changed and not possible to adjust to an appropriate temperature. One important thing I need to mention. My international VISA card was not accepted. I was lucky as I had a Union Pay card.

The front desk staff of the hotel is very polite and highly professional, and the check-in and check-out speed is fast. What touched me and my wife was that when we left the hotel, it seemed that the person in charge of the front desk personally sent us to the door of the hotel, and asked us if we needed a taxi. A heartwarming word brought us closer. Before leaving the hotel, she also gave us a pair of small 🐪 as a souvenir. Although the gift is not big, the affection is deep. The location of the hotel is very good. It is about 5 kilometers to the Mingsha Mountain Crescent Lake Scenic Area, and it takes about 8 yuan to take a taxi. Not far from the hotel, there is a No. 3 bus that goes directly to the scenic area. The hotel is also very convenient to go to the airport. There is a bus to the airport diagonally opposite. The hotel is not far from the Dunhuang Night Market, and it takes more than 10 minutes to walk. The hotel's room is large, the bedding is clean and tidy, the mattress is moderately soft and hard, and it is very comfortable to sleep at night. The hotel is fully equipped. The room not only has a TV, air conditioning and kettle, but also a smart toilet, a small refrigerator, an air purifier, etc. The hotel provides free purified water, and two bottles are placed in the room. If you need to contact the front desk again, the staff will quickly deliver water to the room. The hotel's breakfast is also very good, with milk coffee, soybean milk, rice porridge, hot dishes, cold dishes, flower rolls, snacks and fruits, etc. This is a very satisfactory stay experience, and I will recommend friends who travel to Dunhuang to stay in this hotel.
