The village, Aljubarrota, is itself of great historical interest. It is around 10 minutes to Alcobaca. We found the area to be very pleasant. As for the Casa da Padeira itself, the quality of service and comfort was extremely good. For example, the breakfast was excellent, as were the rooms and the immediate surroundings of the Casa. I should add that we were given a list of suggested restaurants in the vicinity which turned out to be quite useful.
In all, this was a surprising, very worthwhile visit.

There were failures in the booking, when we checked in, our name was not on the booking list.
Sweak cleaning.
It lacked energy and it lacked water.
