The hotel facilities are average, but they have everything you need. The location is very good, on the main street, very close to the meeting point for glacier hiking, and only 5 minutes walk from the trail where you can see fireflies. The boss is very nice, answering all questions and introducing us to many surrounding attractions. I forgot to mention that the boss is Chinese, and I felt very close to him because he could communicate in Chinese.

The room is not big, but it has everything you need and is clean and tidy. This is the only hotel you can choose in Fox Town. This hotel is pretty good. The breakfast provided needs to be self-service, but it is well prepared. The service is quite considerate and they specially recommended the best location for viewing the glacier for us.

The male receptionist who greeted us was not particularly friendly; and only when we got to our first floor room did we read about a luggage service. The room was tastefully furnished and clean, and other staff we interacted with were friendly. However the biggest issue is that the walls between rooms are are paper thin so we could hear people next door and doors banging. This woke us up early on both nights we stayed. If you stay - bring ear plugs. There was a lounge with a bar - the bar was permanently closed so there was no where to get a hot or cold drink unless you went to a cafe down the road.

Clean and spacious apartment. Interesting the kitchen is together with sleeping area. Food smell actually hard to ventilate out. Kitchen amenities slightly worn out but still can be used.
Our poor luck as the clothes dryer in the laundry room is faulty. We dropped coins for twice and still damp, so no choice we packed up in car and travel on.
Own car pouch Infront of apartment. Contactless arrangement for check in. Love the quick response from host. This is certainly the best Accom to stay in if you drop by for Fox Glacier Hike.

The hotel is very clean, with heating and electric blankets, so it's not cold; the view outside the window is also very good. The boss lady is very nice, but it's a bit far from the center. The hotel is right next to the departure point for the Fox Glacier helicopter, and you can walk there after checking in. It rained when we came so we couldn't make the trip, but the hotel itself was pretty good and the room was large. The only drawback was that the water pressure was very low and the shower was not very comfortable. Breakfast is a Western-style buffet breakfast, which is not rich but enough to satisfy you. You can have dinner for white people at the whitepub coffee shop next to the hotel. It costs NZD 25-30 per person and the taste is okay. Hotels in Fox Glacier are generally expensive. After 11 days in New Zealand, this is the only one with a price over 1,000.

It was already 6pm when I checked in, and no one was there to greet me. I got my room number from the note on the glass, and was told that the key was in the room. When I left, I just had to turn off the power and heating and leave the key. It was a very Buddhist management.
The room facilities were simple, and the bathroom curtain was a bit dirty and old.
It wasn't warm enough to sleep at night.

YYIPINGThe location is very close to the location of the walking glaciers. The password is unlocked. The first sign of the church is still reserved. It is very prominent on the door, the glass is good, the kitchen and other equipment are OK, and the wine is prepared... the attic can not live. Look at the mountain, there is a chair on the top... The air conditioner is not strong enough, the space is empty, and the wind can be felt here in the washing machine position below, but on the sofa, the curtains are pulled up for the first time, and the three sides of the glass are lit. At the same time, the same heat... Lifting the hair of the existing electric fan ceiling fan is not bad, relieved... At night, the back of the bed is not against the wall, there is a beak on the opposite side, the glass can still be accepted, lying down and found that the top is red! Individuals will fall asleep after fatigue! It varies from person to person...

ZZuiaiyouThe environment is beautiful, surrounded by rainforest, glaciers and lakes. The facilities are a bit long but clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and very relaxing. But there is nothing for sale in the small town, and the items in the canteen are very expensive. Saw lots of free fireflies

It is very close to the trail of watching fireflies at night, and it can be reached by walking 500 meters. Driving to Lake Matherson and Fox Glacier Viewing Points is also very close, 10 minutes one way.
Disadvantages:
The room is small and simple;
There is no one at the front desk at 20:30, and it takes time to check in at night to find a room;
The parking space is tight, and you can't stop at night. You can stop on the roadside outside.
