Kkelvin.likes.cheeseMy stay at Yawn Yard Kouri Island (Sea) was overall very pleasant. Each villa features a private swimming pool and an outdoor soaking tub, offering a serene and luxurious retreat. The in-room dining service was especially ideal for families with infantsโlike ours, with a 3-month-old baby boy. It allowed us to enjoy meals without worrying about sudden crying episodes disturbing other guests, as might happen in a public restaurant setting.
The dinner provided through in-room dining was exceptionally delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We truly enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the villaโs outdoor courtyard, where we could take in stunning ocean views, sunsets, and even rainbowsโa truly magical experience.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, adding to the overall sense of relaxation and making our stay even more memorable.
That said, itโs worth noting that the villaโs design leans toward an eco-lodge style. The bathroom is located at the rear of the house, requiring guests to walk through the outdoor courtyard each time they need to use it. This can be less convenient in the evening, especially when insects like spiders are more active. For this reason, the accommodation may not suit everyone.

GGuest UserThe accommodation is high a little up hill so you can see the nice view and kouri bridge and the beach. Rooftop is very nice. On the sunny day you should go up and observe the view :). The room have a nice Jacuzzi with the amazing view. I enjoy my time in Kouri Okinawa so much. Super thanks to Mr.Tom the owner to guide us many things. He is super helpful and friendly. We enjoy his company so much. The breakfast was delicious coming with spam/ egg sandwich and fries :) .

GGuest UserThe apartment is beautiful. However the checkout time is too early at 10:00 am compared to other hotels in Japan in general. The utensils are sufficient for cooking. One thing thatโs most unsatisfying is thereโs a lot of cockroaches and mosquitos during the night. Even thereโs a net and it cannot prevent some of them coming in, some can even fly! Horrible. The price is too high for this standard to be honest.

The room is large and equipped with cooking utensils. It can accommodate many people.
The cleaning time was very random and did not follow the schedule, and the hotel staff came into the room to clean without prior notice. I was a bit dissatisfied.
Since I had notified the hotel through Trip.com before departure that I would arrive very late, but when I arrived, I found that the front desk was closed, and there was no prior notice from Trip.com or the hotel about the key collection arrangements, which made my group very panic. Fortunately, I found Trip.com customer service to find the password. Thank you to the customer service and compensation for helping me handle it that day.

Book pool vila.
The pool is connected with other pool vila customers. So, I think that I can swim cross by. But, got angry by another Japanese customer nearby rudely.
Even though, the pool Vila is a good spot for the view of the bridge. But the long pool it self not meet what it should be.

GGuest UserThe white cottages are lined up in a place that is easily visible from the road, so you can arrive without getting lost. Check-in was thorough, so it took a long time, and I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, but I was warmed by the human touch.
The building I stayed in was in the style of an American house from the Showa era. There was a dining table, couch, and chairs, and the ceilings were high and comfortable. The electrical appliances seemed to be a mix of nostalgic and newer items. There were not many places to plug in electrical outlets. Is this because of the place's aging? The bathroom window wouldn't open, and the lock seemed broken, so as a sensitive city dweller, I was worried about security (it was fine, of course). It was a comfortable stay.

GGuest UserThe view from the room is wonderful. I was able to enjoy the extraordinary space. It was very good.
However, the bath was covered with glass, but I was a little worried about the water red. I think the corners of the bath and the corners of the guest rooms were not well cleaned. I don't think it's a cheap villa, so I wanted you to notice the details. Also, since the restaurant was far away, I procured rice and drinks in advance and ate slowly in the room, but there were no chopsticks or plates, and there was no microwave. There was a wine glass, a plastic spoon and a paper cup, but there are no other tableware, so you need to prepare it in advance.
