"The room and lobby look out to the Guyuli Bridge, the sea is very charming on sunny days! The hotel service is super intimate and the facilities are very complete. Not only the room is large, the bed is very comfortable, washing machine, refrigerator, stove, tableware and coffee appliances are all available. There is also an air purifier. "This is a great small homestay, with only five rooms in total. The atmosphere of the whole homestay is mainly pure white.
The room is very clean, and has its own private infinity pool, you can soak in the pool to enjoy the atmosphere of nature.
Hotel location in a relatively remote place, must drive to reach.
The restaurant itself has no service for meals, but the young owner will recommend nearby delicious breakfast, dinner.

"We booked a 2-night stay at WoodPecker Nakijin to experience camper van living. Due to some delays at the airport, we arrived late and had to contact the hotel since they don’t offer 24-hour check-in. We didn’t get a reply, so our rental car staff kindly helped us call the hotel — although they didn’t speak English, they were helpful and guided us through self check-in via our rental car staff.
The environment was well maintained, but the facilities inside the camper van were quite dated. We had to skip showering the first night as there was no hot water, though the issue was promptly fixed the next morning. The steps inside the camper van were quite high, and I tripped a few times during our stay.
It rained heavily on our second night, and unfortunately, the noise from the rain hitting the roof made it difficult to sleep.
On the plus side, the location was easy to find — there’s a large signboard right by the road, so you can’t miss it. The site offers free parking (you can park right next to your camper van), as well as a spa, sauna, swimming pool, and BBQ pit. There’s also a beautiful, private beach right behind the hotel with a great view.
The hotel is close to Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, Nakijin Castle Ruins, and Bise Village. However, there isn’t a convenience store within walking distance — you’ll need to drive about 5 minutes to reach one."

AAlissa NgWe really loved the location and vibe of Furaiso. Hosts were very friendly and attentive and passionate about their guest house.
The breakfast was great with really delicious bakes with huge portions. Hosts even provided take away bags as we could not finish them.
As there was a cold snap with strong winds during our stay, our host also provided us with heat packs and a nice free gift of Okinawa brown sugar peanuts.
The only small issue is, it would be great if toilets can be in-built into the rooms instead. However, it could be due to it being a family room type as I couldn't get reservation for other rooms which may come with in room toilets.
Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would consider again once I visit Okinawa again :)

WWilasineeThe accommodation is high a little up hill so you can see the nice view and kouri bridge and the beach. Rooftop is very nice. On the sunny day you should go up and observe the view :). The room have a nice Jacuzzi with the amazing view. I enjoy my time in Kouri Okinawa so much. Super thanks to Mr.Tom the owner to guide us many things. He is super helpful and friendly. We enjoy his company so much. The breakfast was delicious coming with spam/ egg sandwich and fries :) .

The room is large and equipped with cooking utensils. It can accommodate many people.
The cleaning time was very random and did not follow the schedule, and the hotel staff came into the room to clean without prior notice. I was a bit dissatisfied.
Since I had notified the hotel through Trip.com before departure that I would arrive very late, but when I arrived, I found that the front desk was closed, and there was no prior notice from Trip.com or the hotel about the key collection arrangements, which made my group very panic. Fortunately, I found Trip.com customer service to find the password. Thank you to the customer service and compensation for helping me handle it that day.

GGuest UserThe apartment is beautiful. However the checkout time is too early at 10:00 am compared to other hotels in Japan in general. The utensils are sufficient for cooking. One thing that’s most unsatisfying is there’s a lot of cockroaches and mosquitos during the night. Even there’s a net and it cannot prevent some of them coming in, some can even fly! Horrible. The price is too high for this standard to be honest.

GGuest UserThe white cottages are lined up in a place that is easily visible from the road, so you can arrive without getting lost. Check-in was thorough, so it took a long time, and I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, but I was warmed by the human touch.
The building I stayed in was in the style of an American house from the Showa era. There was a dining table, couch, and chairs, and the ceilings were high and comfortable. The electrical appliances seemed to be a mix of nostalgic and newer items. There were not many places to plug in electrical outlets. Is this because of the place's aging? The bathroom window wouldn't open, and the lock seemed broken, so as a sensitive city dweller, I was worried about security (it was fine, of course). It was a comfortable stay.

LLoveGiGuRuDespite the remote location in a far corner of Kouri Island, this Villa is quite easily accessible, within walking distance to the landmark attraction Heart Rock on the Island. The openness of the Villa is unique, which may not be liked by those who require security and privacy. A dip in the jacuzzi on the terrace during the day is a highlight of our stay. We particularly enjoyed having all curtains opened so we could submerge ourselves in nature and looked at the vast blue sky of Okinawa in the sunny afternoon we luckily had during our stay in mid April.

GGuest UserThe view from the room is wonderful. I was able to enjoy the extraordinary space. It was very good.
However, the bath was covered with glass, but I was a little worried about the water red. I think the corners of the bath and the corners of the guest rooms were not well cleaned. I don't think it's a cheap villa, so I wanted you to notice the details. Also, since the restaurant was far away, I procured rice and drinks in advance and ate slowly in the room, but there were no chopsticks or plates, and there was no microwave. There was a wine glass, a plastic spoon and a paper cup, but there are no other tableware, so you need to prepare it in advance.

GGuest UserIt takes less than 10 minutes to go to the ruins of Jinguiren City from the hotel. I plan to play north of Okinawa. This hotel is ideal (but you must drive by yourself). Although the hotel is not big, there is a big supermarket opposite, which is convenient for shopping. There are also many restaurants nearby. The service is very good. This is 👍.
