all went by smoothly until the 4th night when the ceiling lamp became loose and fell on me while i was asleep! the housekeeping did not wash the toilet properly, did not top up the tissues or the toilet roll at all. we were left with a rather unpleasant stay in this place.

Admirably helpful staff, great food and good ambience. From the moment I entered into the hotel till I departed, courtesy extended by the staff, ethnic and other combinations of food in the dining hall- everything was good. Belongs to a good hotel in the local area. The service staff is friendly and flexible, and early check-in is also allowed to check in. Originally, one of the more expensive ones in the local area was booked, waiting in the lobby for two hours, and rooms are not allowed to check in before 12:00. Cancel directly to this one. The location is very good, walking distance to the largest temple, there is a state-owned craft shop 300 meters near the hotel, the goods are rich and the price is conscience. Throughout South India, Madurai's temple is almost the best and most exquisite in South India. The local little palace is also worth a visit.

Hotel Grand Sabarees is conveniently loacted with close proximity to the Railway station, good vegetarian restaurants and Meenakshi temple. The rooms are very well maintained and clean. The pricing is very reasonable. The staff are very courteous and try their best to help the guests feel comfortable. They even accommodated our request for an early check-in by an hour. The rooms are small and compact, nealy maintained and the bathrooms are also maintained very clean. Hot water is available 24 hours. Food from outside is allowed to be taken to the rooms - no in house restaurant is available - however, some good restaurants are available in close proximity. The railway station is walkable and so is the bus stand. We would prefer this stay when we travel to Madurai.

The ***ager of the restaurant was kind, but I ordered a local beer, but they brought an imported beer without explanation and drank it as if it were local.
Of course, the fees are outrageous. -I hope the staff's order service will be as communicated with the customer.
The overall service was good.
I had an oil massage at the spa, but the masseuse's skills were too weak.
I applied for a taxi at the information desk- I confirmed the fare to the temple and boarded it, but the taxi driver's toll fee from the price suggested by the hotel [This must be pre-set in the taxi fee]- The next day, another car went to a place without toll fees [Parking lot entrance fee and parking fee - this is You must inform the customer in advance and tell the taxi fare/ A special agreement with the taxi company associated with the hotel is required/

The front desk service was very good, but the business was very bad. To the hotel, don't let early check in understand, the front desk asks for the price, go to the restaurant to buy breakfast, the price of the restaurant is not the same as the price given by the front desk. When I checked out, I wanted to use the hotel's car to go to the airport. I asked the front desk for a price. I thought it was a little more expensive than Ola. It was okay. I said that I had a good meal and ordered it. After I came back, I changed the front desk. The price has changed. It is more expensive than Ola. Doubled. Early Check In, the hotel began to strictly demand that you can not check in early, must be 2 pm, after communication, helplessly understand, then go out for lunch, come back to 12 noon, found that the hotel even gave another pair of white couple check in, but also provide A towel and welcome drink. I didn't have this at all when I checked in. The above shows that hotel management is very confusing. The security guards greeted each other with enthusiasm. Breakfast is not expensive, but meals are average. The room hardware is very good, the air conditioning is also very powerful, but the refrigerator is very old, very noisy in the general heritage of the manor. The hygienic situation only looks beautiful, and if the wooden floor is stepped on, it will soon be dark. There are also a few large flies flying in the room, hey, a little disgusting. Overall, the price is not bad, that is, the front desk is very annoying, and the health situation is not equipped with hardware.

It’s a vintage construction of British times , 1890. Luscious greenery, peacocks playing around. Can walk around the peaceful area. Well mannered and friendly staff. Had Breakfast and dinner , both scrumptious. Rooms are comfortable , however personally I felt it could be more luxurious / clean ( with respect to the sheets and towels supplied, status of the bathroom showers and overall cleanliness), for the price paid.

Great hotel to stay. Interiors done very artistically and tastefully. Maintained very neat and clean too. All amenities provided as promised. Prompt services provided as and when requested. Front desk staff was helpful and courteous. Buffet breakfast served in restaurant had a good spread and awesome food.

Do not be put off by the very ordinary sign on the street. At the top of the steps is an excellent budget hotel which is far ahead of other hotels of the same type and in the same area. The budget double room far exceeded expectations. Equipped with both fan and air conditioning it made sleeping very easy. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Although the room has no exterior window the lighting is superb and feels like daylight - very impressive. The bathroom is also of high quality with hot water in the shower and hand basin. In room wi-fi is very strong and quick. Finally the rooms to the rear of the hotel are very quiet and almost free of traffic noise. There was nothing here that I did not like - great room, great staff and great value.

I always stay in Taj whenever I come to southern part of Tamil Nadu. Gateway Madurai Taj is an exclusive mini city on the hill, located in a calm serene environment within the main city of Madurai. All the staffs are too good and benevolent, especially Lalitha madam and Pandian sir. Consistent quality service is provided every time I come here. Food is delicious. Good amenities and Spacious clean rooms with beautiful views. Meenakshi temple, Thiruparankundram murugan temple, railway station, market, etc all are within 10 kms range from Taj. Worth staying here.

There was a problem with the room when I arrived but when I complained the front desk staff moved me immediately. However the next room had a big problem with a very strong drain smell coming from the bathroom. Come on guys, sort this out. The staff try so hard to make the stay memorable but then there is a problem like this which is easy to fix. I have given four stars, not three, as the staff are so kind and helpful.

GGuest UserIt was an average experience staying at Hotel Times. All landmarks are near the hotel as Periyar Bus Stand, Railway Station, Meenakshi Am*** temple. The hotel and its maintenance is the same as a lodge. Room service is average and cleanliness too. I gave 4/5 only for the generous and helpful front desk ***ager at reception. Try for a budget hotel with an excellent location.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the hotel supreme, madhurai and wanted to share my experience with fellow travelers. Overall, my stay was satisfactory, although there were a few areas that could use improvement. The room itself was clean, i found the bathroom to be only average in terms of cleanliness, as certain surfaces appeared slightly neglected. One noticeable issue was with the shower. Although it was functioning, there were signs of damage, which slightly affected the overall experience. Another concern was with the room door. It seemed to have a issue while opening.

Vvenkateshn2020We had booked a room at this Hotel for Aug 19th on the Hotel's website and had paid an advance of Rs.1000. We had an email confirmation received for our booking also. However, on arriving at the Hotel on 19th, we were informed that they cannot give us a room because of some ongoing event in Madurai. Not only that, till date, they have not refunded the booking advance despite emails and phone calls. However, I am grateful to one gentleman at the Hotel who was kind enough to point us to another alternate Hotel which had a room available where we could stay that night. If they had constraints for which they were canceling our reservation, they could have easily informed us on phone or email they won't be able to honour the reservation and should have returned the booking advance. Clearly, the Hotel does not think either one is necessary.
