Amazing
GGuest UserVery satisfied stay experience. The host family is very friendly and welcoming. We have a lot of luggage. The room we originally booked is on the second floor. They are not afraid to trouble us to change the room on the first floor to avoid our luggage. The whole cabin is very cozyly furnished, typical English country house. At dinner we walked about ten minutes to Half Moon, a restaurant in their recommended town, and enjoyed a delicious English dinner. We highly recommend friends from Gatwick Airport to stay at this family hotel for one night and experience pure English country life.
LLinximeng(mengxiangzaiyuanfang)The room facilities are quite complete, but it is too small, two people can't turn around, the staff service is quite good, the hotel has an airport shuttle bus, which costs 13 pounds (5 minutes drive, not cheap), the hotel has no elevator, the stairs are very high, and the staff helped to move the luggage up and down, which is very inconvenient. The breakfast is very rich. This hotel should be a residential conversion, with only a few rooms, I don't know how to rate it 4 stars. If it is 3 stars, it is still good, but 4 stars is not worthy of the name.
LLauren JingWonderful place! We really loved our time here, even though it was only for a day! If we didn't have a flight to catch, we would have extended our stay. The house is in an excellent location, beautiful area, easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Very close to the airport, which made taking our flight the next day an easy and stress free process. The Lawn has an interesting history, and they provide a lovely folder in the room which explains it all, while also including any information your might need for your stay. The room itself is cosy, clean, and full of charming touches. Breakfast the next day was also a treat. Quasim and his wife are so friendly and made sure our stay was as nice as possible.
SSonwwuyeFacilities: Fairly complete, no air conditioning, but a fan. Toiletries are provided, but no toothbrush or slippers.
Cleanliness: Good, clean and tidy. Located right on the highway, it can be a bit noisy with traffic passing by late at night. Airport transfers cost £15-20 and arrive in a few minutes.
Kkouki2828From the airport to the hotel, the bus is very convenient, the bus stop is parked at the entrance of the hotel, 2 pounds per person. It is still possible to catch a plane for one night.
Hygiene: One dining: There are no restaurants around, and there is a small supermarket in a gas station. There is a large supermarket about 1 km walk.
