We had a few misunderstandings with the reception staff, since no one spoke English properly and we couldn’t speak Chinese, still they mixed up a few things. They made processes, such as a later check in than expected and paying, more difficult than they should have been.
However, the room was nice and clean, looked like in the pictures. The food from the room service was already cold, apart from that alright. Breakfast was really good and the staff there was super friendly and helpful. Laundry service was worth the price, as it was really good as well.

Xiaohan at the front desk had a great service attitude and was very attentive. The housekeepers were also very considerate in cleaning the rooms. I especially liked the hotel lobby, which left us a quiet and comfortable space for business trips. The only drawback was that the bathroom area on the first floor was too simple and not warm enough. Not only was there often no toilet paper, but the details and grade were not worthy of the Hampton brand.

The hotel is in a courtyard, so it's like a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Not only is the location good, it's convenient to eat nearby, but more importantly, it's very quiet when I sleep at night. It's already 8 o'clock when I wake up. I'm someone who has very high requirements for a good night's sleep environment. Man, this store really didn’t disappoint me. I was in a hurry to get the charger and left the room. I was reminded very heartwarmingly that otherwise I would have to go there again. All in all, it’s a pretty good store and it’s worth planting.

Nice hotel...Very nice location, just in between the railway station and Tienyi mall, which is at 5 minutes walking distance. Their breakfast is not served in the hotel but outside on a public square and it is way below the average. It looks more like lunch, it is too greasy and unhealthy. They should exclude this unealthy breakfast from their price, i.e. decrease the price for 15 rmb, and make it optional. Whoever wants can pay these 15rmb and eat that garbage.

Great location. Has a big shopping mall that is 10 minutes walking distance where you can get various foods and has a grocery store. Staff are nice and professional. Room is spacious and clean! Has a nice laundry room!
The only problem I encountered was the gym. It was listed as 24/7, but they actually turn lights and air conditioner off after 11pm. However, they did open the service for me upon request at 3am, but I was told they stop service at night to avoid affecting other’s sleep.

If two people live together, it is best to get two room cards, because without a room card you can only go downstairs but not upstairs. This is something to be aware of.

I was very tired after driving all day. When I checked in with my luggage, the front desk staff Qiqi was very enthusiastic. He helped me with my luggage and explained the check-in process in detail. He also gave me a small gift. The nail clippers were very practical. Yingying also helped me take my luggage to the elevator. I felt that this service was very considerate. I really didn’t expect that when I got to the room, the front desk staff called me back to inquire about the room location and other issues. The toiletries in the room sounded nice and smelled good. The bedding was also very clean and comfortable. I really like their mattress, which is moderately soft and hard. The breakfast is one of the best in Xingtai hotels, with a lot of variety. The auntie in the restaurant is also very enthusiastic and recommends dishes. Next time I come to Xingtai, I will stay at this hotel again.

The hotel room is large and the sun is full.
The hotel bathroom is full of flushing with a shower, and it hurts on the body. If you want to take a hot bath, you have to open cold water 15 minutes in advance, and wait for it to heat up before going in. The big bed room in this hotel is a one-person stay by default, and 1 bath towel is provided. If you need it again, you have to call, but the toiletries, slippers, and pillows are all double configurations.

There was nothing exciting along the way, and I was even a little disappointed. The navigation led me to the main entrance of the hotel. The hotel's buildings stunned me. The hotel lobby was magnificent. When I walked into the lobby, the hotel staff on both sides lined up to welcome me and guided me to check in at the front desk. There is a gym and self-service washing machine on the second floor of the hotel. When I entered the reserved room, I felt the nobility of the business hotel. The nearly 50-square-meter opening showed the taste of the hotel. The induction night light under the bedside table, the fruit plate, and the ordering menu were very warm. Free breakfast is another major feature of the store, and the Chinese and Western dishes are rich and varied. Such a cost-effective hotel is carefully built by a blue ocean group in Shandong. The software and hardware design is top-notch. As a middle-aged and elderly self-driving traveler, this place is about four kilometers away from Beijing. It is an excellent destination for rest on the way. It is specially recommended to middle-aged and elderly self-driving friends as a reference for the road book. I believe that friends will sigh that it is worthwhile after experiencing it in person!

GGuest UserEasy to find and nice soft beds to sleep in but check-in in was an absolute nightmare. After pissing about for more than twenty minutes, I was finally allowed up into my prepaid room. I must have been there all of five minutes before they called my room asking more questions. After that they knocked on my door to demand my phone number. Absolutely dreadful impression and very unwelcoming.

Today, after visiting the Red Flag Canal from Changzhi, Shanxi to Henan, I was thinking about where to go next? According to the prepared strategy, I should go north and then return to Tianjin, which should be Handan, Zhaoxian, Dingzhou, or go directly to the ancient villages of Yingtan, Longhua or Daping on the outskirts of Xingtai. But I always felt that there was a hint pushing me to make another choice. Finally, I locked my eyes on Xingtai and chose a hotel in Xindu District in the city center from Ctrip. I thought it would be more convenient to go there the next day. This is the Super 8 Hotel.
It was my first time to Xingtai and my first time staying in Super 8. I arrived at around 5 pm. The yard was full of cars. I thought the business here was really good. The moment I walked into the lobby, I was attracted by the two busy ladies at the front desk. I have stayed in so many hotels, and the front desk receptionists are mostly young girls. There are not many professional, mature and capable front desk receptionists like the one in front of me. The state of their work makes the whole lobby convey the atmosphere of a five-star hotel. At least I think the aura here is very strong at this time.
When checking in, I asked one of the ladies if there was any place to eat nearby. I didn't expect her ability to figure out the guests' psychology to surprise me. She said that if we just want to eat home-cooked meals, there is a restaurant not far ahead. Her dumplings are delicious. She said that she often goes there with friends. Is it okay? I said I was just thinking about eating dumplings. It's great. She said, I'll give you my friend's phone number. She is a member of that restaurant. If you go to the restaurant to eat, you can enjoy the member price by showing this phone number. At this moment, I was overjoyed and suddenly felt that the lady in front of me seemed to be a messenger sent by God to guide me, a stranger, how to go and where to eat. Her enthusiasm for the beauty of adults made me, a hungry and tired traveler, feel inexplicably moved and satisfied. I learned from another lady at the front desk that she was also a manager. This was my first impression of Xingtai and Super 8. Of course, in addition to this, the hardware facilities of Super 8 are also impeccable. From all the details, we can see that the managers here have good aesthetics and care, which can be seen from the use of soft water equipment in the bath.
After putting away the luggage, we went to the dumpling restaurant. Everything was as the female manager said. The dumplings and dishes were great, and we also enjoyed the treatment of members.
After dinner, I returned to the hotel and lay on the bed. I had a deep thought. I repeatedly asked myself, what is travel? What is the meaning of travel?
I think that traveling is to get close to a city, a village, a house and a tree that have been destined by fate, and the people waiting there. They are actually old customers in unfamiliar places.
