I'll walk the entire Dinghu Peak area, which takes about 2.5 hours. To save energy, I'll take a cable car to the back of Dinghu Peak. Drive up the mountain and walk down. D1 Afternoon: Niutan Mountain Scenic Area: Before the entrance to Dinghu Peak Scenic Area, there's a greenway leading to Niutan Mountain, approximately 1.2 kilometers long. D2 Morning: Furong Gorge Scenic Area: Buy a shuttle bus ticket to Niutan Mountain, then take the Furong Gorge shuttle bus. From the bus station, walk to the Furong Gorge entrance, crossing a bridge. The entrance is unassuming, but the scenery inside is beautiful and unique. Admission is 12 yuan (discounted), and entrance and exit are from the same location. The entire walk involves climbing stairs, approximately two hours. D2 Afternoon: Take a shuttle bus to Xiao Chibi, Dadu Rock, and Xiandu Temple. D3 Morning: Take a shuttle bus to the scenic area exit, then take a Didi to the high-speed rail station. Xiandu Scenic Area has many trails, making it a pleasant stroll in the early morning and evening. Vehicles are controlled within the scenic area, so security is very safe. The guesthouse I stayed at left its doors unlocked at night.

The nearest scenic area to the guesthouse is Furong Gorge, a 15-minute walk away. Dinghu Peak Scenic Area can be reached via the Jinyun Greenway, taking about an hour. The room's floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of lush vegetable fields and Furong Gorge. The common areas include a swimming pool and terrace, and despite being near a driveway, it's not noisy. The room has excellent natural light, a large bathroom, and a fantastic bathtub experience. The only drawback is the lack of a desk in the room. The restaurant is on the first floor, offering a buffet breakfast with a wide variety of authentic farm-style dishes. The salted duck egg with white rice porridge was delicious!

By the 3rd day i actually had an option to move to another hotel, but i decided to stay in this hotel because of the price and the value it brings in my work trip. Don't expect flashy lobby or breakfast place, or even laundry. The most important thing is that it's clean. By the way, it's also very close to the jinyun west railway station, and there's a convenience store right next to it.
