YYida88Our family of 13 recently spent three nights at Wuyou Stayhill Resort in Sanbao Village, Jingdezhen, and it was a truly wonderful stay. The location is excellent—about a 20‑minute drive from Jingdezhen city—yet set in a quiet village surrounded by mountains and many artist studios, cafés, and restaurants, so there is always something interesting to explore. The hotel also provided free rental scooters, which made exploring Sanbao village easy and really fun. Waking up each morning to the crisp mountain air was already the perfect start to the day.
The resort offers spacious rooms with high‑quality finishes and fittings; our six rooms were all beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with quality bedding and bathroom amenities that made for a very comfortable stay.
The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service from the staff, who were consistently caring, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. They handled several ad‑hoc requests even before our arrival and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay so that every member of our family felt well looked after.
We particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast each morning. After long days of sightseeing, it was a joy to return to the resort, where a good night sweat desert soup awaited us, making it feel like coming home every evening. On Christmas Eve, our sweet dessert soup was accompanied by a beautifully written poem wishing us all a Merry Christmas, a thoughtful touch that showed how the staff went the extra mile to make us feel special. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay smooth, relaxing, and truly memorable, and this hotel is highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Sanbao Village.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always happy to help with anything. We had a really great stay.

I had an incredible experience at TaoYi ChangYang Hotel! Everything was just perfect – from the elegant and stylish design to the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed.
The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The attention to detail was impressive, and every little touch made my stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel’s location is fantastic, offering both convenience and a peaceful retreat. The amenities were top-notch, and the overall ambiance was simply exquisite.
On top of that, I accidentally left some of my belongings at the hotel after checking out, and the staff went above and beyond to help me get them back. Their kindness and efficiency truly made a lasting impression!
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay.

Conveniently located in the bustling Sanbao street, eleme deliveries are also available and come right up to the room, the hot tub came with bath salts, mood lighting and really was worth every penny.

Few suggestions that could elevate this experience further:
- The tv does not have GiTV it has CRTV so English entertainment is unavailable on the projector unless you mirror your device and use a Chinese streaming app. International apps are not compatible.
- Room temp at night is quite warm since air conditioning is switched off during the winters, fans would be a relief
- Would’ve loved some chocolate placed on pillows for a honey suite
- The service is only in Chinese and restaurant closes at 4:30 pm unless you book a meal in advance
- There is no dairy creamer with the coffee only milk available in the restaurant on 1F
- Would’ve loved the projector in the hot tub area
- Xiao Du only understands Chinese and most room commands need her assistance, inconvenient if someone doesn’t speak the language
- Hard to find Didi Cabs to go anywhere but relatively easy to find cabs 2km away. (Very scenic walk or e-scooter)

TtorinessThis hotel is in a great spot, right next to the Taoyangli historical cultural park which is lovely to walk around and visit their museum. It’s also an easy didi ride from the airport and other major sights to see in Jingdezhen. The hotel itself is in a historical building so it is a little bit cold in the bedroom, mainly the floor is very cold so wear the slippers provided and turn the heat up as much as you can. The room fittings are modern and very nice. We had a lovely view from our room over the historical park. The breakfast is really excellent and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.

XXiangxinjiangchufaThe location is super close to Taoxichuan, and the hotel's exterior design is quite distinctive, echoing the scenic views of Taoxichuan. However, the soundproofing in the rooms is very poor. When the next-door neighbors open or close their doors, it sounds like my own door is being opened, and I can also hear the flushing sounds from their toilet. Nevertheless, I have to thank the front desk for providing a complimentary breakfast! The fried dough sticks and sticky rice cakes at breakfast were delicious too.

AAnonymous UserI was really surprised by the dome design in the suite; lying in the large bathtub and stargazing was incredibly relaxing ✨. The 48㎡ space was plenty spacious, and the night view was also quite good. The bed at Taopan Jingju was super soft, and with the 4K cinema, it felt like a pre-sleep mini-theater – I completely forgot about the hustle and bustle outside. The air conditioning and hot water were excellent, and the dry/wet separation in the bathroom meant the floor stayed perfectly dry after my shower, which shows great attention to detail. What made me most comfortable was the staff's attitude; their service was warm and friendly, almost like friends, making the overall experience very reassuring.

GGuest UserI don’t write reviews unless it’s extremely good or bad. This might be my worst hotel experience ever while traveling in China. I ended up switching hotels because of point 3.
1. I booked for a non-smoking and quite room, ended up with a room smells like cigarettes. You can tell my smelling the curtains and the room walls. After complained, they changed room for me. I can smell the cigarette the moment I walked in. Then I ask to change it again, they refused. They said that I can sleep here for the night then they’ll consider changing the room.
2. I found stains on the sheets and ask them to change sheets. It’s the night staff’s first day working, and she doesn’t know how to change the sheets and make the bed properly (untrained employee being put on a night shift the first day working).
3. Then, they contacted the manager and finally changed me to another room. The security person came up and delivered the new room key. Honestly, this is the main reason I decided to switch hotels. He asked me: “What problems do you have?” I felt threatened and not safe. I said, I just want to sleep in a non-smoking quiet room. I am the customer and I paid to stay here. Is that a problem? He laughed. The way he looked at me gave me chills. It’s not a security person, it’s literally a g***ster off the street.
China is a safe country but not this hotel.

The second room in the morning suddenly cigarette smell came through the aircondition and it was not possible to turn it off. And we saw a little mould on one of the walls. We than got another room which was fine, but the overall cleanliness could have been better: stains on the floor e.g.
I think it was a little overdone with the „electrifying“ the room, the curtains could only be opened/ closed electronically, but it was only completely opened or completely closed which is nonsense. In the second room it didn’t work anymore in the morning, so how is this helpful?

When planning my trip to Jingdezhen, my expectation for accommodation was simply ”a clean bed would be fine,” until I stumbled upon ”Grassland Freedom Youth Hostel.” It completely reshaped my perception of hostels—this isn't just a place to settle for, but a delightful surprise that blends design, convenience, and a sense of community. Located in a modern building, the hostel's atmosphere upon entering is completely different from traditional hostels. The carefully designed warm lighting, the warm roselle tea offered by the receptionist during check-in, and the friendly introduction to the facilities on each floor—this meticulous care made me feel incredibly comfortable. The ”luxury” details far exceeded my expectations. ”Luxury” isn't about ostentatious displays of wealth, but rather the quality and thoughtfulness evident in every detail. I stayed in a four-person room, expecting typical metal bunk beds, but instead, I found custom-made solid wood beds—sturdy and quiet. The mattresses provided excellent support, and the high-thread-count cotton bedding resulted in a surprisingly good night's sleep. The individual lockers are equipped with electronic locks, providing a great sense of security. The bathroom is a highlight, with a thorough separation of wet and dry areas. The showerhead has strong and consistent water pressure, and it uses well-known brand toiletries—a rare detail in hostels. The most interesting aspect of this hostel is its interconnected micro-community. The second floor, where I stayed, is the vibrant hostel headquarters. Young people from all over the country spar in the communal kitchen and share their travel stories in the lounge area, creating a free and lively atmosphere. Just one floor up, on the third floor, is a professional foot massage parlor. After a long day exploring Taoxichuan and the Sculpture Porcelain Factory, my feet were exhausted. I could simply go up to the third floor for a professional massage and relaxation. The benchmark for quality in the entire building is the Intercity Hotel on the fourth floor. Out of curiosity, I went to check it out. Its decor, room amenities, and service level are comparable to a high-end business hotel, though a bit pricey at five or six hundred yuan a night. The tranquil atmosphere complements the lively second floor perfectly. The allure of ”Grassland Freedom” lies in its precise understanding of the core needs of modern young travelers: a desire for stylish and high-quality accommodations coupled with a down-to-earth social atmosphere and exceptional convenience. It uses the affordable prices of youth hostels as its entry point, yet offers experiential possibilities across multiple budgets. Whether you're a solo backpacker or a student seeking value, you can find your comfort zone in this unique building. It's more than just a hostel; it's a clever proposal for a travel lifestyle.
