As the last stop before heading into the desert on our Southern Xinjiang trip, this hotel in Alar was a wonderful surprise. We initially saw it recommended on Gaode and Trip.com and booked it on a whim, but the experience far exceeded our expectations. The overall vibe is a full-on, retro American style, with a consistent theme from the lobby to the guest rooms. The lobby features herringbone flooring paired with vintage leather sofas, and the walls adorned with retro posters give it a lot of character, making for a pleasant waiting and lounging experience. The room itself was spacious, with a sophisticated brown wood and dark green color palette. Thoughtful details included ambient lighting strips above the bed and nightlights under the bed. The bedding was soft and clean. The retro desk and the TV integrated into a wooden frame added a great sense of design. If you're a fan of retro style, this place is a must-try, and it offers excellent value for money. All the staff were genuinely friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

Crossing the desert road, choosing Alar Lanxiang Hotel 🏨 is simply too satisfied! The front desk girl is skilled in business, smiles throughout the service, the room facilities are very new, the bathroom is super large, the wet and dry separation, and the welcome fruit is also sent. The parking lot is very large, there is security guard + security, you can also wash the car by yourself, breakfast is not only colorful, but also the dining environment is very good. Get up early to exercise in the gym, the staff also sent Nongfu Spring mineral water intimately, and the security guard at the door took the initiative to help with luggage! Whether it is service environmental sanitation, it is the most satisfactory hotel for this trip to southern Xinjiang!

It was great! A brand new hotel. The rooms were spacious too. The whole family, young and old, traveled together and everyone said they rested very well. The food was also good. The older folks ate light, non-spicy dishes. It was rare to find that every meal was delicious. Breakfast was at Tianma's Pig Trotters next door. Four hot dishes: stir-fried cauliflower, stir-fried cabbage, stir-fried winter melon, and stir-fried garlic sprouts—all quite tasty. Two kinds of porridge, plus milk and soy milk. The soy milk was surprisingly good; it wasn't made from soy milk powder. There were also dumplings, steamed buns, eggs, brown sugar flatbread, and two kinds of pastries. Freshly made noodles were also delicious. Dinner was at a random restaurant next to the hotel, I forget the name, something like Yu or Shu. One mildly spicy and four non-spicy dishes—classic dishes to eat with rice, like braised chicken, twice-cooked pork, and home-style tofu. Everything was delicious. The portions were large; six people couldn't finish five dishes. You can always trust Sichuan chefs. Every meal on this trip was delicious and affordable.

Super super satisfied, the environment is particularly clean and comfortable and the price is reasonable, everything is complete, the service is in place, the first time I stayed in a cheap and comfortable hotel, I was very satisfied.

The room was very clean and large, the breakfast was rich, the service responded promptly, and the upgraded room type was arranged after 6 o'clock in the morning. It was really intimate and I would go live next time.

This trip was really pleasant. The front desk staff was really warm and made me feel the hospitality of the people of Xinjiang. The room facilities were also smart in the whole house. I didn’t know how to use it. The staff took the initiative to help me demonstrate. The bed was very comfortable and I slept quietly all night. The washing machine is also a brand Little Swan washing machine, and there is a dryer, which is really convenient and worth recommending.

I feel that this is the best hotel in Alar. The environment is really OK, the facilities are very advanced, the rooms are very clean, and the service is also very good. If you come to Alar on business, I recommend this hotel.

It is very important to have good front desk service. I chose Tahe Guanlan Hotel because of its beautiful environment. The rooms are indeed large, clean and comfortable. But let’s complain about the logistics support staff. Are they slacking off because of the low wages offered by the hotel? ! Or the ”uncle” raised by the hotel? ! As soon as I checked in, I discovered that the toilet in the guest room was not draining smoothly. I first reported the toilet problem to the room service staff, but no one came to fix it after waiting for half an hour. Then I went to the front desk to report the problem, and the front desk urged me. After waiting another 20 minutes, no one came to fix it. Finally, a friendly young lady at the front desk changed my room, which calmed my anxiety. On the way to change rooms, I met the ”uncle” who came to fix the toilet and he looked very impatient... I wonder if the hotel leadership can see my review (and what measures will be taken). Let’s talk about it. I’m satisfied with the accommodation. I’m satisfied with the front desk service who later changed my room. I’m satisfied with the breakfast. The faults are not hidden, so I give it a five-star rating.

This hotel is perfect, except for the hostess at the front desk. This reporter might have been irritated by the number of guests. The receptionist argued with other staff, which tarnished the hotel's image. Their attitude towards customers was also very abrupt and uncomfortable. We recommend further education for them!
