I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, my experience was a blend of positives and areas for improvement. Firstly, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made for a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. They were always ready to assist and made me feel welcomed. However, it's worth noting that the lack of an elevator could be a challenge for some guests, especially those with heavy luggage or mobility issues. While the staff are willing to help with bags, I would advise against bringing too much or heavy luggage to avoid inconvenience. The option for transportation from the hotel to the pier port (Panglao to Tagbilaran) at a reasonable cost of 800 pesos was convenient and appreciated. It saved me the hassle of arranging transport myself. In terms of room amenities, the absence of a cabinet was a bit inconvenient, and having only one bedside drawer limited storage space. Additionally, encountering an air conditioning remote in Chinese was unexpected. While a translator app or assistance from the front desk resolved this issue, it could be an inconvenience for guests not familiar with such technology. On the bright side, the cleanliness and softness of the sheets enhanced the comfort of the stay. However, some corners of the shower could use more attention in terms of cleanliness. The place was overall quiet in terms of other in-house guests, but at certain times in the morning, it can get a bit noisy from the neighbor's dogs, which woke me up. Understandably, it's out of the hotel's control. While there were aspects of my stay that I enjoyed, such as the friendly staff and comfortable bedding, there are areas where improvements could enhance the overall guest experience, particularly in terms of room amenities and cleanliness. Overall, the room price for the stay was reasonable and offered good value, complementing the overall experience. Would definitely recommend this place and rebook for future trips.

Spa center (massage from 500 pesos, hourly massage from 1000 pesos). We did not use the shuttle to the beach. There are sun loungers, tented seats, and gazebos by the pool. There is currently one restaurant on site, a bar by the pool and in the evening a bar on the bridge with a platform where you can admire the sunset. There was a promotion in the bar and restaurant: from 7 am to 7 pm - 50% discount on alcoholic drinks. Menu: Filipino and Italian cuisine. The staff is very attentive to the guests. We had breakfast: choice from the menu, served either in the restaurant or in the room.

We stayed for 3 nights, the room was very decent, better than many hotels in Alona. Everything was clean, fresh, not damp There is a transfer to Alona or to restaurants, we agreed with the driver on the time when he would pick us up back to the hotel, but he never came. Tuk tuk from Alona 150 pesos. The breakfasts are the same - 4 dishes to choose from every day. The staff helped us buy ferry tickets, while we had to find out about the additional services ourselves. Overall, very decent for the money, we will recommend to friends

It is very suitable to bring children or several friends to stay; has a private beach, although there are a lot of seaweeds, it is also good to pick up small crabs at low tide; there will be no hot water during the period of time every day, and the weather will be acceptable; The location is relatively biased, you can rent a small motorcycle for 10 minutes to go to the lively place; there are not many dining options, you can try the first day or two, and the taste is okay; the suites by the swimming pool feel the best (picture D) Other common room types are a little bit. . . ; Overall I find it worth trying.

I recently stayed at The Bellevue and while the overall experience was decent, there were a few hiccups that affected our stay. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that our room's AC was not functioning properly, which led to a transfer to another room. After a long day of travel, this was quite inconvenient. Unfortunately, the new room we were assigned wasn’t as clean as we expected, so we had to request housekeeping to tidy it up, which added to the frustration. The service at the resort was generally slow, particularly during dinner. The staff seemed a bit disengaged, which was surprising for a hotel of this caliber. On a brighter note, the breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of options, and dinner, though average, was satisfactory. One of the highlights of The Bellevue is the range of activities available within the resort, which added value to our stay. Despite the service setbacks, we still managed to have a pleasant time overall. With some improvements in service speed and room maintenance, this could easily be a five-star experience.

Loved every bit of time we spent at Modala. All the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The free photoshoot was also great, my parents loved it! The breakfast buffet was also great! So many food choices.

We stayed here for 3 nights. They helped us whenever we had problem. The swimming pool is great. You can even see airplanes flying while you are enjoying your day in swimming pool. Breakfast has only 3 options. This was the main problem maybe. It is close to Panglao airport. So we liked our experience here! 🌸 And price is good for sure

Staff were great. Hired a motorcycle from reception no hassles. Bit of a way to out but what’s 5-10 mins in a tuk tuk. Had to ask for room to be cleaned which seams to be common theme in Philippines. Had a bit of an ant problem in the room ..but that could have unwittingly been our own fault. Overall I would stay again good value for money.

Hotel is nice from the website. Not much difference from the actual. Facilities is considered quite new. Staff and reception is very nice and polite. The rooms comes with free breakfast which is quite a nice thought. Food wise it's OK not fussy though it could be better. The location is quite a bit away from the buzz but you get the peace you looking for. There's few good eateries close-by to explore. Overall will recommend this hotel. Only issue is their Internet connection in the room is very bad. It's literally off all the time and if you are someone who wants to be connected throughout the facilities then not recommended. But if you ok without the Internet, it's actually nice place to stay. The best thing is the pool access where it's so easy to just get into the pool right from your room!

A nice clean place. Located 15-20min walk or 3min bike ride from Alona beach. Good for families with kids. Swimming pool is nice and the territory of the resort has a lot of photo locations. Hot water works well but there is no shampoo or toothbrush
