The food is great, especially the kaiseki cuisine in the evening; the shamisen performance after the meal is also very local. The main ingredient of the Owani Onsen♨️ is sulfate spring, which makes the skin smooth for several days after washing. Disadvantages🩶: This Hoshino should be rebuilt on the basis of the original old hot spring hotel. The renovation is not thorough, so the overall style is a bit old, especially the lobby furnishings and room corridors. Due to the heavy snow in Aomori, the Ou Main Line has been suspended for many days (including the JR Express we were supposed to take), so we had to take the express bus🚌 from Morioka. We arrived at Owani at noon, and we couldn't get a taxi🚕 because of the heavy snow❄️. In this case, the hotel did not give us any other suggestions or help except to say that the shuttle bus would be available after 3pm. Also, when we arrived at the hotel and communicated in advance about the pick-up arrangements for the next day, there was not much flexibility. The service experience in this regard was slightly poor.

Moreover, there is an unlimited supply of towels in the hot spring room, so you can walk directly into the hot spring room without having to worry about a man. As for breakfast and dinner, which are two meals per stay (fixed meal), the food is quite satisfactory, but it is also exquisite and cute! There are also grilled fresh scallops for breakfast, and I feel very carefully cared for. Same journey. We also went to Aomoriya under the Hoshino Resorts Group. Although Seishinya seems to have a higher style than Chunxing, when we went to Seishinya, we missed Jinxing’s attentive check-in procedures, help with luggage, and the beautiful view of the room (but Aomoriya is buffet and more facilities).

My expectations for the Hoshino Resorts brand were deeply disappointed, especially after having been to Toyu Onsen, Osawa Onsen and Sakunami Onsen. The housing prices in Tianjin are twice as expensive, but the quality of food and accommodation is average. One experience is enough.

The most distinctive features of Kaitsugaru are the Apple Hot Spring and the outdoor snow bath.

The service attitude of Hoshino Hotel really makes people feel at home, the environment is quiet, and the meals are exquisite and pleasing to the eye. Each dish fully demonstrates the characteristics of local agricultural products. Apple bathing is a specialty of Aomori Kairutsu, and there is a faint aroma of apples when soaking! A great place for a relaxing slow swim.
