Stayed together under separate bookings and we all enjoyed our time at Karl Johan. Couldn’t ask for better location, service, and breakfast! Will be back if I’m in Oslo.

The hotel is located at the Western end of the Karl Johnson street /belt, about 8 to 10 minutes from the Olso central train station. It is nearer to the Royal Palace and the Akershus Festning (fortress) and further away from the Oslo Opera house. The restaurant only open for breakfast and do not serve dinner. Still, there are many restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Check-in is efficient as with all Norway hotels. The breakfast is excellent, although the selections remain the same. Overall, it is a good hotel to stay in Oslo.

Charming hotel right in the city with friendly employees who were knowledgeable about Oslo. Gym was great to use and breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended.

The location is very good, it is convenient to go out, there is a small balcony which is very suitable for checking in, taking pictures, drinking coffee and sunbathing. It is very comfortable. You can walk to various places for 5-10 minutes to see different sunset views.

The location and rooms are very good. It is very close to the commercial street, the palace and the parliament building. You can take a fly directly from the airport to the National Theatre Station. The surrounding environment is much better than that near the train station.

The first stop of the free travel is Norway🇳🇴Oslo. From the airport, you can take the train directly to the central station. It takes about nine minutes to walk to the hotel. The hotel is clean and tidy. It was built in 1899. It is in the downtown area. There are bars, shops, convenience stores and restaurants downstairs~~ ~The restaurant in the hotel has many meals and a great environment. I will go there again if I have the opportunity! The room is not big, but it has everything. I am very satisfied.

The location of the hotel is very good, located in the city center, but the room is relatively small. The location in the morning is very beautiful and there are many choices. The hotel's front desk service was good. Since I checked out at 6:30 the next morning and couldn't make it in time for breakfast, the front desk clerk also helped to leave a note and pack a breakfast box.

This hotel is in a prime location, the rooms are well-equipped and comfortable, especially the restaurant, which is a glass-roofed building. It is simply beautiful to sit inside and dine. The breakfast is also very rich.

The front desk service was OK, and we checked in early. Although the room was small, all the facilities were complete. It was in the center of Norway, with plenty of food and drinks nearby and a shopping mall. Not bad 😌
