The hotel's location is absolutely superb. It's right next to Tsutenkaku Tower, and as soon as you step out, you're in the Shinsekai snack street. There's an incredible variety of delicious food, and the prices are very reasonable. You'll find everything from ramen and fried skewers to takoyaki. Some places accept Alipay, while others are cash-only. There are three main subway stations within easy walking distance of the hotel. Shin-Imamiya Station was very convenient for me; I took a direct train from Kansai Airport (KIX) straight to Shin-Imamiya, and it was just a 10-minute walk to the hotel from there. For Universal Studios Japan, I also took a train from Shin-Imamiya to Nishikujo, then transferred to the Universal City line, which took about half an hour in total. Dobutsuen-mae Station is where I caught the red line, which was great for shopping in Umeda and connecting to Kyoto via Shin-Osaka Station. Ebisucho Station is also very close by, although I didn't use it. There's even a zoo nearby, also within walking distance. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they're incredibly well-equipped, making the most of the space. I was even able to lay two large suitcases flat on the floor. Basic amenities like toothbrushes and facial cleanser are provided by the hotel. A major plus is the complimentary coffee and ice available on the first floor. Osaka gets really hot, and after a few days, I got accustomed to drinking iced water. Breakfast is offered, but I didn't have a chance to try it. Overall, the hotel's excellent location and comprehensive offerings make the slightly smaller room size perfectly acceptable.
