Excellent Resort, away from the city rush. The rooms and Bathrooms are clean, Jaya ji at the reception was always helpful. Overall we had a 3 night pleasant stay, with a beautiful view.

Very comfortable room. Loved the fire been lit and hot water bottle service provided on colder nights. Loved the buildings and the bar. Restaurant was great for evening and buffet breakfast. Scrumptious Dosa's! What really made it a magical stay was the Staff, they were all fantastic at hosting us.

Hotel is nice view is good. But approach road is very bad. Its old property bathroom not so clean. For sightseeing hotel person give us driver is very nice. Its good service. But it's good but some changes required. Food is good

Excellent location and able manager mr. Denny. Chef and staff are very polite and service minded. Travel desk was very useful. On the whole great vacation we had. As my wife underwent knee replacement surgery, requested the manager for allot a room in ground floor. He helped us which we can not forget.

Location: the hotel is ideally situated in the main shopping area, although finding the exact spot might require asking for directions upon arrival. Maps indicate the location behind the hotel, which can be confusing, especially at night. However, the hotel receptionist was helpful in guiding us to find our way. Food: meals are provided on a prior order basis, although we didn't have the chance to try them. Room facilities: the room and bathroom were impeccably clean, though there was some noise from the bathroom door. However, upon request, the staff promptly provided hot water. Room price was quite affordable.

Great super clean hotel, super friendly owner, helpful staff, strategically located. Restaurant next door serves great food at economical price. Botanical garden, tibetian market n commercial Street are walkable. Other sight seeing places are easily accessible by vehicle. The owner Mr. Maria dass converses well and helps to finalise places of visit, also does his bit to keep the guests happy. If you are in Ooty go ahead with Hotel Carnation, it's the best choice within the city.
