Onna Beach Hotels

We booked three nights at the ANA Manza beach hotel and I had a great time. The service was amazing and the location is exceptional. The private beach was great and as a hotel guest towels and chairs are included. I highly recommend use of the concierge lounge, the check-in process and the daily option for breakfast and evening snacks and cocktails was wonderful. Food was great, staff was great, beach and location were great. We would definitely do it again.

An old hotel, with very big rooms and nice views, the location of the hotel is a little bit far away from anything. In any case, for resting, it is worth. Be ready to go up and down the hill (the hotel is on top of a hill) if you want to go out for strolling the beach, restaurants or the like. Being in the middle of nowhere sometimes has its advantages. Relatively convenient bus stops down the trail connects you with Naha/airport in about 1h45min for budget option, 1:15 min for a limousine bus and maybe just 1h for a private/rental car. It is a place to rest, and that's it. Do not expect a fancy service. The Japanese has their own rules regarding cleaning time and tea music in the afternoon, so if you are a foreigner, expect shocking situations such as bedding exchange time (there is a schedule for that), tea music time at 5 (which in case you get a nap for whatever reasons (i.e diving) it can make you wonder what´s going on (not just in the lobby, but in your room as well) and okinawa typical folklore music until 8 every day in the afternoon. If you have to sleep a while because of exhausting day, it could be relatively annoying. In any case, for the price it has, it is okay.

The hotel is comfortable, nice beach and good pool facilities. The breakfast has enough variation and good quality. For dinner or lunch there are plenty of good options very close outside of the hotel. However, for being a resort almost no services are included in the price and you have to pay for almost anything. For example, at the beach there is no place to seat and if you want a normal chair you need to pay. Similar thing in the outdoor pool with certain types of sunbeds. The access to the indoor pool/gym/onsen is also charged. For the price of the room and the type of hotel, I would expect these kind of services to be already included in the price to make it more convenient for the guest.

Hyatt Regency Okinawa Seragaki Location - 8/10: The hotel is located approximately 1 hour's drive from Naha Airport, and there aren't many restaurants or shops in the immediate vicinity. Service standard - 8.5/10: The front office staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. However, there might be room for improvement in the breakfast service, as it seems they may be understaffed. Enhancing the service level or hiring more staff would be beneficial. Room - 10/10: The rooms are spacious and appear to be new. It seems that all the rooms offer a fantastic sea view. Parking - 10/10: The parking area is available for a reasonable fee of 1000 yen per day. It is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk away from the hotel and has ample parking spaces. Additionally, the hotel provides frequent transport service between the hotel and the parking area. Environment - 10/10: The surroundings are well-maintained, and the facilities are clean and in good condition. Kid-friendly - 10/10: The hotel is exceptionally child-friendly. Upon check-in, the front office staff provided my son with a kid pack, and the facilities are thoughtfully designed to cater to children's needs. Let's talk about transportation first. Take the airport bus at 2:40 and arrive at Onna Station at 3:55 (walk to the domestic arrival gate No. 4, bus stop No. 1). Notify the hotel in advance to pick up at the Onna drop-off point, and arrive at the hotel in 5 minutes. The hotel room is not luxurious, but clean. Choose a few people in the order and prepare a few beds. The sushi buffet opened by the hotel every Tuesday and Thursday is delicious and cost-effective. I also ate a Japanese set meal that is much more expensive and tasted average. The room card in the picture below can be used for free in the hot spring. I don't understand why I can perfectly avoid the following room card with a room fee of 3,000 per night? There are many cute dolphins in the hotel, and there are many activities. It is very noisy at night, with the roar of cars and motorcycles all night, and it is useless to close the door tightly.

This is the hotel I am most satisfied with in recent years. I never write reviews, but I decided to write a few. The hotel's mega zip is amazing! The private beach is also very suitable for children. You can see a lot of fish when snorkeling near the reef. The scenery of the hotel is very good👍. And the hotel has many activities, such as blue hole diving and tennis. Even though I have booked so many five-star hotels by the sea on Ctrip, this one is still remarkable!

The hotel decoration is a little old, but it is very clean and gives people a very comfortable feeling! The public facilities are comparable to 5 stars, and the restaurant, swimming pool, beach, and rest area are all great; the hotel has a particularly strong natural atmosphere, and the dense vegetation is the result of years of maintenance; there are two indoor and outdoor swimming pools in the hotel, and the white sand beach has fine sand. The only ”regret” is that it has been calm and there are no waves these days. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast included in the hotel can be replaced with a buffet lunch, and snow crabs can be eaten to your heart's content. Children under 5 years old are free, and you can directly use the ”meal ticket” to eat in the morning or at noon. In terms of transportation, the airport's LIM-C or LIM-CD can reach the hotel entrance, which is convenient for back and forth, and you need to buy a ticket. As for the shortcomings mentioned in some reviews, such as the curtains not blocking light, low water pressure, etc., the problems do exist but are acceptable. I wake up naturally at 8 am Japan time and 7 am Beijing time every day. The only thing worth noting is that the air conditioning in the room is very cold, and those who are afraid of cold need to pay attention. One of the very good experiences so far is worth writing so many words!

Breakfast is very rich, be sure to try croissants. There is a parking lot, and the welcoming brother also picks up the car for parking. Some floors have washing machines 200 times with washing powder, the swimming pool has warm and cold water, there is a hot tub, there are paid bathrooms, and the rooms have two beds and two spare beds. The bathroom and toilet are separate from the wardrobe. The check-in is Japanese and there is no Chinese service.

Halekulani Okinawa has definitely exceeded our expectations, mainly by the following reasons: Service: The hotel offered great first impressions to us, as mango smoothies were offered to us during check in, which was a nice touch to the experience of having a tropical feel even before exploring the whole resort. Also, we were given a free upgrade by the hotel workers, which definitely leveled up our experience. Design: The hotel has used the same design as the resort in Hawaii, including the signature orchid flower pool. This really made our family feel like we have been instantly transported into a tropical paradise. The hotel has also been designed to mix in with the spectacular view of the sea and sunset. Size of the hotel: Halekulani has a total of 5 pools, 2 blocks of buildings, which gives us a good time to actually explore the hotel instead of knowing what’s where in one single glance.

First of all; we stayed during the winter (Christmas holiday) so we did not use the swimming pool and water sports facilities, so it is difficult to evaluate the hotel facilities🙏🏽 Regarding the hotel, the hotel staff are very friendly and courteous. The receptionist and the staff who assisted us in taking photos of the car can all communicate in English. The room is very spacious, with two bedrooms, a living room, a terrace and a kitchen. The terrace faces the sea and the corridor outside the door faces the golf course, which makes it feel like a vacation. For breakfast, we chose the buffet breakfast. The food was average, but I really liked the Taco rice that I could mix with myself 😂. In terms of location, it is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main street with the food market. The street is dark at night, so be careful when walking out for dinner.
