Great place and the standards you'd expect of Holiday Inn, but you really need to drive to make it more convenient. There's only one bus to and fro which costs 1,230 Yen from Shinano-Omachi station. There is also nothing in the near area nor any Uber services. Still, the restaurant is pretty decent and there's a pool + Onsen with a simple vending machine as well as a shop selling apparels or food items. Christmas vibes were all-in when we went around mid November. Overall, a great hotel and if the location doesn't bother you because you drive, you'll likely have a good time.

We returned to Ogizawa Station from Kurobe Dam, which was like another world, and headed to the KAI Alps, where we were staying for the day. Location is literally right infront of Shinano-Omachi station, extremely convenient. Walking distance to Delicia supermarket, Daiso etc. Food quality provided for breakfast was top notch. Onsen was clean and hot enough to enjoy! Extremely value for money and great experience!

the location is a bit far from the bus station but it's good that shuttle bus service is provided free of charge, the best thing is the dinner set with more than 10 dishes and all are very delicious, the onsen is also very relaxing with both indoor and outdoor, all staffs are very nice and polite
