Better than the Chinese restaurants - so refined...Visit them in the 2nd weekend of February and you can tour the candy festival (with Akita Dogs parade) at the same time. Very comfortable bed too. I can't find anything bad about the hotel.

It was a scattered 々 stay in the worst front staff and filthy room. In the cover of the sealing light in the room, countless insect corpses, under the bed, dust and hair balls that make you feel bad when you look. It seems that it has not been cleaned for many years. The bedside table has a burnt mark of cigarettes. It smells like cigarettes even though it is a non-smoking room, and the elevator smells like cigarettes. There were good points such as hot spring baths and free ramen services, but it was not possible to compensate for negative points. I will not use it again.

Hotel room is clean and comfortable. They even give one free entrance to the onsen next door. Staff are courteous and welcoming. Only shortcoming is it is located next to a railway crossing and sound proofing is not perfect. So be prepared to be awaken at 2am in the morning due to train crossing.

This is a public bath frequented by locals with accommodation. People come and go, so not lively. Health is definitely stronger than domestic, but as a short-term traveler, this kind of accommodation is not recommended.
