Mercure North Melbourne Reviews

I chose the Mercure brand as the name has a good reputation. I chose Mercure North Melbourne as it was very convenient to where I had meetings to attend over a two day period. Though I felt safe and comfortable in the hotel, I did think the hotel was quite ‘tired and tardy’’ looking. I would suggest it needs an overhaul - a ‘facelift’ and a total refurbishment to raise its standard.

Pictures not the same and elevator looks unsafe No form of assistance once you arrive you have to walk up stairs from car park with luggage( and small child) Over priced parking and room service

It is an excellent location to go everywhere with car, good parking facilities with reasonable price.

We enjoyed the food at the cafe downstairs. The hotel is really close to the venue we were planning to go the next day. Easy check-in and check-out.

Transportation is generally okay. It's not in the central area, but not too far away. The room was about the same as a domestic hostel. The hot water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, and the washbasin was small, barely enough for toiletries. The front desk service was okay, with breakfast included and free luggage storage.

Hotel not recommended. Unfortunately the structure is dilapidated. In the room the glass is dirty and worn. The lamp near the bed is broken. Positioned Isolated from the center. We are at the level of a. 2 stars

The hotel is a little far from Melbourne's city center, but not too far from the University of Melbourne, which can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. There are relatively few shops and restaurants nearby. The facilities are relatively simple and the hygiene is good. If you are just traveling, it is better to choose the city center.

The room is very large and can be booked on the same day. The price is acceptable and the front desk is available 24/hr. This is already very good!
