The Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls Reviews

Our reservation was originally with Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls but due to room maintenance, they kindly arranged alternate accommodation for us and it exceeded all expectations! We were given a room at the Hilton hotel with a double king-size bed, stunning views of both the U.S. and Canadian sides of Niagara Falls, and even a relaxing jacuzzi that was perfect to unwind in at the end of the day. The Hilton’s location was excellent, the room was super spacious and spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. A big thank you to Oakes for swiftly securing another option for us and to Hilton for delivering top-notch service throughout our stay!

I love the hotel and room, it was so clean and the view was so beautiful, i literally saw the beautiful sunrise from my room. Service was also so good and fast. Check-in or check-out was done so fast. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Overall, excellent location and service. I recommend this hotel as prices are good according to the view and everything as compared to other expensive hotels. Will come back again for sure.

Customer service was great, Tucker (one of the new hotel staff) was very friendly and ready to help, they allowed us to check our bags with the concierge while we went around Niagara, the beds and pillows were perfect! Most restful sleep we’ve had after a long day of exploring! Coffee was available 24/7. Check out was a breeze. View was great.

Great service. Great staff. Room was on 11th floor with a great view of the falls.

The hotel was located next to the Horseshoe Fall, and the view was amazing great.

Went in Feb, great time to go, ask for the falls room on the side of building, was almost no one there, only scam is parking, goto the casino as it’s less than half price but they change their prices each day.

First time staying here. Good location with a view of the waterfall.

The hotel is old but clean

Currently under renovations at the time of this review. The hotel did provide us a room in the Hilton which was two blocks away. So don’t really know the rooms other than the great location of the hotel.

A wonderful trip and prime location for the hotel! However I docked points we didn’t have hot water to shower the majority of the time. Which was really difficult and unfair.

They have trouble with plumping, change us to Hilton cross the street. But line up one hour to check in. We stay one night but parking in Hilton around 75 dollars.

I’ve put average marks but when we arrived reception told us they had been trying to contact us to say they could not accommodate us and had arranged for us to stay at the Niagara Hilton. They probably did us a favour because it was a terrific room and hotel. We’d stay there again and not The Oakes
