I traveled to nyc in 8 years and location was okay but the main entrance was closed which was located in apple and google map, we had to carry heavy luggage.. but still people were friendly and nice.

Good location. Room is spacious. Called housekeeping multiple times to ask for toothbrushes but no one picked up, so I went down to the reception to ask nicely. Ended up the receptionist just rolled her eyes while passing me the toothbrushes. Secondly, At 9am, I saw housekeeping doing their rounds, a couple of rooms further from my room so I placed the privacy door hanger outside my door knob so as to inform housekeeping I don’t need their service, end up they just open my door and came in. It’s so annoying! What’s the point of me putting the privacy hanger at the door knob then? Ugh!

The hotel refused to give us the room we booked as they said they were sold out. They said being a hilton honors member does not guarantee you get the room you booked even though it was a direct booking of that room type. They refused any upgrade on check in and only offered a downgrade with no discount. The room was fine but the bed was small for us and we could have booked this bed type anywhere so if you need a king you will most likely not get it here. We stayed on a thursday when the crowds were down. The view from the 31st floor was very nice as you can see in the photo. Unfortunately they would not let me see a manager which is a shock since this is a Hilton and we have no choice except to lose our money or take the room. Surprised from a quality hotel chain to see this treatment.
