Absolutely brilliant BnB if you are on a road trip around Taipei! Brilliant view with superb tranquility, awesome hosts who are welcoming, can be talkative and give local recommendations, also with a scrumptious breakfast! Will definitely visit again to chat more with the knowledgeable hosts 🙂↕️🫶🏻

Beautiful location on the top of the hill next to the old mines. Clean and convenient, big room. Common areas to spend time with other guests or the friendly host. ;) Better to come by car. They have a charger too. Yummy home made brekkie.

The hotel manager LUCY is so enthusiastic and the service is so good. We arrived at the hotel at around 9pm. Manager LUCY warmly welcomed us, introduced us and checked us in. She also helped us move our luggage and took special care of us. We hadn't eaten dinner yet. She also recommended us a great restaurant. I highly recommend it! Everyone must find her when they come. You will feel at ease with her. If you come here to play, I recommend staying here. There is a small balcony in front of each room. The room is large and clean. It is quiet at night and in the morning. You can see the sea as soon as you come out!

The location is some distance from Jiufen Old Street and the Gold Museum. It is dangerous to walk on the road! but! The owner of the homestay is very good! Will help introduce the itinerary and will pick up and drop off back to the homestay in Jiufen Old Street. The environment is very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. 😋 (The only thing is that when you leave the famous hotel, the owner of the hotel will enter the room and help us dump the trash can. I believe that this is not acceptable to everyone. If you can accept it, this is a good place to live )

Staying here, I feel very comfortable. The hardware is neat and tidy, there is no amazing place, but there are a lot of thoughts. There is a library corner in the public area, and the book list is for the well-known book travel enthusiasts to customize according to the concept of the hotel, the environment and the user. The room is played with custom-made light music, and in the corner you will see some warm and poetic text prompts. The butler service is natural. All in all, it is suitable for shorting. Of course, the location is very remote, just to see if you like this silence.

A supposedly 4 star hotel that delivers the bare minimum. Nothing to shout about, had an unobjectionable stay here in January this year and was happy with the location and relatively clean room so decided to book again for 5 nights for my recent trip. Regretted my decision as I felt that the service was lackluster. Upon entering the room we saw that the double bed was made up by 2 twin beds unlike our initial experience so we approached the front desk to enquire if a change was possible as we do not like the feel of the gap between the beds and the light switches were behind our pillows making the lights on/off if we were to even lightly lean on the headboard. The answer we got was that we should have indicated that request upon check in and it is a common process for hotels to join 2 twin beds and sell them as a double room. The front desk manager also said the check in rate was 98% that night. We then asked if we could have a change the next day and the reply was to come down and check again tmr. No effort to assist and instead all we felt was him trying the shift the blame to us when all we requested was a double bed when it is available. That left an extremely sour taste in our mouth. The next morning, I woke up with red bites on my arms, legs and torso, however my partner didn't had any so I did not relate it to the cleanliness of the room. The next 2 morning remained to be the same and we requested a change of room which we were given. The itchiness subsided after the change. The staff also passed a cream for itchness to me. But she mentioned it may be mosquito bites which I can tell it isn't as they are in clusters. Location was convenient for us as it is near the banqiao transfer station and there are food choices around the hotel as well as a few family marts.

Everything is awesome, big rooms, friendly staff and convenient location!! Just that if you are travelling by car / uber / private hire, then not so, as the jams during peak hour are really bad, a 5mins distance might take up to 30 minutes.. but if by public transport, diagonally there is a bus terminal + metro station + train & high speed rail station!! There is also a microwave but is only for use during the restaurant opening hours, about 6am? To about 10pm? Or so.. the pool above is also very clean, but there is no direct lift to it.. there is also a welcome drink (soft drinks) on the first check in, everyday there are 2 bottles of free pet bottle water

The location was very convenient for my business meetings. The big mall closeby had many good restaurants. However, there was some insect in my room, and the A/C in the bar and in the breakfast area was extremely cold, so I was afraid I would get a cold. Service was very good however, we got help in arranging a car and the information about the insect issue was followed up on.
