Hotel Delhi Regency Reviews

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were disgusting and very dirty, everything was broken. I actually felt very unsafe, even the doors and windows and locks were not working properly. I saw many cockroaches, I was afraid to sleep. I wouldn’t even use the bathroom as it was so bad. The owners and staff had no consideration for guests and were very loud all through the night and morning. I couldn’t wait to leave and if it wasn’t so late, I wouldn’t have even stayed, the blankets were definitely not washed. All the hallways were also very dirty. The whole hotel was disgusting and unsafe. I travel the world and I have never witnessed a place so bad. Looks nothing like the photos. So disappointed that you even offer this to people.

There is a main road in front of the hotel so I couldn't sleep at night because of the noise of the cars, but the location wasn't a problem and I thought it was a very good hotel!

Unfortunately, it's not very clean...lol However, I didn't encounter any cockroaches or other insects, so I think it's fine for a *** traveling alone. The hotel staff are kind. The hotel is located about a 20-30 minute walk from Delhi Station, so I think the location is good. (I didn't meet any foreigners lol) There's a McDonald's nearby, so food is not a problem. There are also a few local restaurants. I think the service is good. I was really surprised when there was a sudden power outage on the first day...lol It was a great memory because it made me think, "This is India!" lol It was restored in about 15 minutes. There were no amenities other than towels. (It seems that hotels in India don't have blankets, toothbrush sets, etc.) [Summary] It's cheap and recommended for men traveling alone. Women might want to avoid it...lol

The accommodation is OK, the boss is also nice

Hotel Gold Regency is the best hotel in paharganj area. The rooms are very big and the food is amazing. The staff is very friendly, especially their manager Utpal Deka who gave me a free upgrade also. I highly recommend this hotel.
