This was perfect for the first night and the following day after the flight to Negombo. The terras of the 2 rooms (with triangular pool) is stunning and very relaxing. Great shower in the bathroom. Very clean and trendy, but with traditional. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Swimming late night in the pool is mesmerizing :-) Not mutch to do on walking distance, but with the complemenary bicycle you can go to a nearby beach, with a strange deserted mega hotel building. Better to make a trip to the fish market and a boat trip in the lagoon near Negombo. Suprising good kitchen for such a small establisment.

We stayed one night in the Peacock Villa at Waterland hotel after arriving in Sri Lanka, and everything was very nice. The villa was spotless, the pool was lovely, and the service was warm and attentive. This small boutique hotel feels authentic and makes every effort to ensure guests feel welcome. Highly recommended for a relaxing and unique experience

Wir genossen unsere Zeit wirklich sehr. Wir hatten die Villa Peacock gebucht und die entsprach der Beschreibung. Der private eigene Pool war sensationell. Die Aussicht im zweiten Stock auf den Fluss und die Gegend sehr einladend. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir konnten 2 perfekte Abendessen auf unserer privaten Terrasse genießen. Die Qualität vom Essen, egal ob Frühstück oder Abendessen, war hervorragend. Sehr gerne wieder.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en erg mooie kamers. Wij hadden het geluk in de kamer te zitten met een prive zwembad aan de rivier! Erg lekker gegeten ook in het verblijf zelf! Fijne sfeer, zeker een aanrader! Zeer bijzonder is de badkamer met open dak en levende visjes!

Wonderful stay in a lovely boutique hotel. The attention to detail was wonderful and the staff were so kind and helpful. we stayed in Elephant Villa which was perfect for our stay, especially having it's own pool which overlooked the river. We had an evening meal and breakfast the following day, both of which were great. The bathroom of the villa was gorgeous, and equipped with everything we needed, especially after a long journey, a little bit quirky which added to the experience. Would highly recommend!
