It was already past 9pm when we landed in Colombo, so we found a moderate hotel near Negombo to spend the night. Take an Uber from the airport to the hotel and it will take about 20 minutes to arrive. The hotel is in a small alley, about 4 floors up, and there is no elevator. The unique environment at the beach is a bit humid, and the same is true in the room. There is a small balcony, which is quite comfortable to sit on in the morning. Breakfast is still okay, I can get used to it. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach. There are many dogs on the road, so don't mess with them.
