Our first time at the Christima. Great place to stay after a long journey. Central to everything you need. Chams and staff were very helpful and arranged our trip to the lagoon. The room were very clean. Great value for money. Will recommend this hotel to our friends and family when looking for a place to stay in Negombo.

Amazing location, friendly people and lovely pool.
We'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Negombo. It's in a perfect location for exploring and had a great pool which was an added bonus.
The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.
We could walk into Negombo to the local restaurants and cafes and it was a perfect start to our holiday.
The rooms were well kept and clean!

Didnt arrive till 1 am. They receptionist left his number at tge desk and was with us in 5 mins. Great.

Spacious room, and if you book the room with a couch/sitting area, you have a spacious kitchen and washing machine, which you share with another room. Good air conditioning, late checkout possible for a fee. Swimming pool is nice at these temperatures. Within walking distance of the beach and (mainly Western) restaurants We didn't really have a connection with the owner. He keeps it quite businesslike, where we saw more genuine interest at other accommodations in Sri Lanka. He is also more above his staff than next to them.

Nice reception, good service (pick-up by driver at night for 5000 LKR), simple breakfast, rooms suitable for backpacking. Great area with restaurants and very close to Negombo Beach. Very quick journey to Negombo City with a tuk tuk (500-600 LKR).

I travelled with my husband from Uk to meet his son who lives in New Zealand in Sri Lanka as a half way point. We had a two bedroom apartment for 8 days, which was very spacious and clean. Both rooms had mosquito nets over the bed and very efficient air- conditioning in the entire apartment. There was a very large en-suite bathroom to each room. It had everything you would need for a self catering holiday ,although we ate out . Chams and all his staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were able to arrange some amazing day trips through Chams. As our time in Sri Lanka was relatively short, one of the drivers, Dylan took us to places like Pinnwala elephant orphanage,Kandy on one day and Dambulla and Sigiriya a second day for a reasonable fee and stayed with us all day. This is an alternative to catching the train or bus. There was breakfast every morning of fresh fruit, tea , coffee, egg and sausage, toast and marmalade etc; The pool was very clean and we often had it to ourselves. Christima Residence is very close to many restaurants, bars and shops. Tuk, tuks are plentiful and easy to catch and are an ideal way to go a little further out. I would highly recommend Christima Residence as a place to stay, either for a few days as a stopover for touring the island or longer.

Wir waren hier als Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern und haben uns in dem familiengeführten Guesthouse sehr wohlgefühlt. Frühstück war einfach aber gut. Der Inhaber hat uns einen Fahrer für die Weiterreise vermittelt und war auch sonst sehr hilfsbereit.
