Nice Hotel! We stayed there the last night before the resort closed down for renovation. The location is a little far away from anything so all you can do is enjoy the resort!.

The first stop of the Bawa Architecture Tour in Sri Lanka, 20 minutes drive from the airport. The hotel is right outside the Indian Ocean. It has a tropical feel, the rooms are super large, and the bathroom is big enough for dancing. Bawa's design emphasizes ventilation and lighting, and there is a patio between the bathroom and the room. The room window faces the swimming pool, which is 100 meters long and is said to be one of the longest swimming pools in Sri Lanka. It is quite good for a hotel designed 60 years ago to have this level.

Jetwing Lagoon is one of the classics of the famous Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa, which perfectly blends design with nature. It makes full use of the natural landscape of the lagoon and the ocean. The hotel design incorporates open space, natural light and modern architectural elements to create a tranquil and elegant atmosphere. The hotel is located between the lagoon and the Indian Ocean, offering a dual water experience. You can enjoy the tranquility of the lagoon or walk to the beach to enjoy the magnificent view of the Indian Ocean. The infinity pool is a highlight here. Surrounded by the lagoon and the natural environment, my room faces the pool-this pool is 100 meters long and is said to be one of the longest pools in Sri Lanka. I got up in the morning and swam 800 meters, which is equivalent to four round trips. I chose this place as the first stop, on the one hand because it is close to the international airport, and on the other hand, of course, to experience Bawa's design!

The room is big. We arrived very late. The waiter was waiting attentively. The service was good, but the breakfast was a bit bland. The room was clean. The bathroom was in an open-air design, which had a very quaint feel.

The service is very good and the scenery of the hotel is beautiful. It is surrounded by lakes and the Indian Ocean. You can see the first ray of sunshine through the lake in the morning and watch the sunset on the beach in the evening.
The lunch at this hotel is also recommended, it is delicious.

The hotel is great, facing the lake to the east and the sea to the west. There is only a small road across it, so you can walk to the beach.
The waiters in the hotel are relatively friendly. The number of rooms is limited and there are not too many tourists staying, so the waiters can take care of them.
Very quiet and comfortable, a good choice for a quiet vacation.

This is a provocative hotel
Jetwing as Bawa's old partner
Let the hotel maintain its original appearance as much as possible over a long period of time
For those who love Bawa, this is undoubtedly an extremely beautiful and touching hotel
The location of the hotel is also extremely beautiful, with the lagoon on one side and the Indian Ocean on the other.
But for ordinary travelers, it will appear to be very low value for money, everything is so old, and there is no modern sophistication.
If you will come to Sri Lanka again
Will definitely come back to jetwing lagoon

It’s too old. In short, apart from the gallery, Jetwing Group’s hotels in Sri Lanka are worthy of praise. The other lagoon and lighthouse I have stayed in are too old. Moreover, because they are the works of local national treasure designers, the prices are relatively high, and they are not cost-effective hotels.

Due to time constraints, I checked in a little late. I ordered crabs for dinner, but they were all shells without meat, which was quite disappointing. The hotel price is slightly higher.
