The girl at the reception is extremely nice and informative. To my surprise this is a good place to stay .

Suitable for those who look for serenity, strategic location with scenic view of Mount Ngaruhoe right at the entrance if the weather is good. Clean and tidy kitchen area with plenty of kitchen equipment and utensils for cooking. The only downside I would nitpick is that the hot tub is located by the roadside so there’s not much privacy around.

First time staying in a shipping container and it was quite an amazing experience. It got very cold at night though, during winter.

It was tiny very much for me. It looked like no air in our room it made me feel uncomfortable a bit. I love common area very much tho. It was cozy.

I booked to 2 bedrooms apartment. It was great. Size is a bit small but sleep was good. Vicky the manager is amazing. She is very friendly and helpful! Her service is impeccable. We stayed on Dec 25 and 26. She brought our breakfast to our apartment in time and we’ll prepared! The place is near to The Tongariro National Park. Overall a great stay!

Stayed in the separate lodge houses which provide modern facilities. Very nice and easy to reach all the major hiking tracks in the national park.

This accommodation was acceptable for one night. I made the mistake of not reading the part that said shared bathrooms. Not my thing

Room 12 was a bit noisy next to bathrooms and kitchen dinning room. So lots of people walk past the room at night. Walls are very thin so can hear what next door are doing. Clean nice staff not much happening around the area.

Nice place to stay and value for money.

The plateau lodge is great! The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s in the small village of National Park and directly across the street from the excellent ski outfitters shop. The room was small, but we spent little time in the room anyway. The large community room and kitchen were nice places to relax on rainy days.

Very prompt and good service! We have some ad hoc request needs help from the hotel staff as we are doing late check in until late night and received their reply shortly. Very much appreciate they did send us a follow up email to report the status which we did not ask for that.

The room is clean and tidy. It is very convenient to bring your own food to cook. The attitude of the staff is also great. There are also entertainment facilities inside. It is not far from the skiing place. I am very satisfied.
