Very friendly staff and everything you need, on the main road of Shuishe, so very easy to access everything in Sun Moon Lake. Big emphasis on not disturbing others and keeping quiet after 10pm, which I appreciated. Only downside is their checkin time is very limited from 3 to 7 only.

施設の設備やロケーションは良いのだが、チェックイン時間帯にもかかわらず電話する必要があるのは不便すぎる。海外旅行の際には現地通話なしのesimてデータ通信ローミングでやっているので外国人旅行者にはサービスが悪いと感じた。同種のホステルでチェックイン前にメールで必要な情報を知らせてくれて、無人非接触で入室できたところもあったので、通話を要求しない形でのチェックイン方法を検討して欲しい。他の点については不満はない。さもなくば、チェックイン前に通話の必要性ありとの条件を予約前の必要条件としてはっきり明示しておくべきだと思う。

The location is excellent, less than 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. The room was well cleaned and I didn't feel any inconvenience. The only thing I can say is that the bath towels are small. It's a good idea to take the time of the nearby bus stop into consideration when sightseeing.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Stay at Deer Traveler Hostel! I had an incredible stay at Deer Traveler Hostel in Sun Moon Lake! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the lake and bus stop, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The hostel itself is beautifully designed, modern, and exceptionally clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to provide travel tips and recommendations. The common areas are cozy, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it easy to meet other travelers. The rooms were comfortable, and the beds had privacy curtains, which was a nice touch. I also appreciated the small details, like lockers for storage and free toiletries. Overall, this hostel exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re visiting Sun Moon Lake, I highly recommend staying at Deer Traveler Hostel—it’s one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at!

The time for bathing and the use of the lounge is clearly set to avoid interference between guests. The transportation location is very good, near the pier. After disembarking, go back, grab your luggage and run to catch a bus. It will be solved within ten minutes.
