Jinling Mansion

Hexi/Golden Eagle World/Wanda Plaza
The hotel is great for the price. Good location across from a park with a lake. Beds were comfortable, and clean. The room was cleaned daily. Bottled water provided. The towels were soft and absorbent. The buffet breakfast, at 30 RMB was good. Coffee! A good selection of choices. You can fry your own eggs. Steamed buns and fried noodles. A good choice. Friendly staff. A convenience store right off the lobby. One peculiarity: The toilet was immediately behind the door, which always hit it when entering. The shower is small, and the water escapes to soak the bathroom floor... But towels provided. Toiletries provided are good.

The room was nice, but the reception was on the 14th floor. I thought the room would be bad, but it exceeded my expectations. There was a washing machine, the room was big, the twin beds were big, there was a refrigerator, an induction cooker, etc. The breakfast was a bit expensive at 58, so I didn't go. Everything else was very satisfactory. The lake view was super beautiful

This was the first hotel in China that made a strong impression on the exceptionally great service back when I was living in China back in 2009. Everything is effortless yet well thought of. I stayed at the Jinling Hotel 15 years ago with my wife. 15 years on we came back with our young children and the service remains as exceptionally impeccable. You can tell right from the GM (Mark) through to the front desk (Leo Huo) the service comes from the heart. Thank you Leo for taking care of me and my family during our short stay in Nanjing. Keep up the good work and looking forward to our next stay.

The hotel is reasonably priced for the National Day. The front desk gave the children a small gift when we checked in, which was a small surprise for the children. The hotel has a beautiful garden, swans frolicking in the small lake, the scenery in early autumn is beautiful, the fragrance of osmanthus is very pleasant The breakfast is not bad, the old duck vermicelli in the open stall is delicious, the coffee is not so good, too bland, and the bread variety is relatively small The hotel staff is very friendly and the service response is timely Later, we stayed in the former Fairmont (Jinao) next door. The room is indeed more luxurious, but the children said they like it here more. I hope Jinling Hotel will get better and better. See you next time
Jinling Mandarin Garden Hotel Nanjing

Confucius Temple/Qinhuai River Scenic Area
I have never felt so compelled to write a review for a hotel. Our stay at Jinling Mandarin Garden Hotel Nanjing was a disappointing one. First of all the theme room we reserved was a very small room with view of another building with absolutely no privacy. The corridor and the room reeked of cigarette smoke at all time. So much so we had to turned off the centralised cooling system and rely on a fan I requested from the front desk. Anyway the cooling system was set at 23 and felt very stuffy. The light in the toilet turned off after a certain period and the motion sensor was not the most sensitive. I paid for comfort and do not appreciate to be dictate when and how to use them. I like my room to be 20C and lights on during the time I’m in the shower however long it takes. And absolutely do not appreciate to be subjected to inhale secondhand smoke for the last 2 days. It was a birthday celebration that has been ruined, not only that you didn’t take note of the request, first was given a room without a bathtub then we finally settled with one that has one but stank with cigarettes smell and with absolutely no view. Breakfast was very average but sufficient, full unhappy staffs standing around. Coffee was excellent though. Beside the good location right next to Fuzimiao that’s nothing good about the hotel unfortunately. It takes lots of tourist groups so the breakfast area gets very busy. For the price we paid there are many more better hotels to choose from in the area. My biggest regret in this trip.

From Shanghai by car, I didn't expect to be stuck on the highway until 11 o'clock in the evening. But as soon as I entered this hotel, the lobby was bright and the public area was spacious and bright. It should be mentioned that the front desk of the hotel was not only reserved for us, but also upgraded the room type. The check-in efficiency was also high. We came to Nanjing to travel. Song Meimei helped us introduce the nearby attractions and food, and the nearby Yuzui Wetland Park is also very good! The room is very cost-effective, this I love you China's shape is particularly exquisite! Thank you for bringing me a good stay experience this time! Later, Nanjing must choose the Guoyu Jinling! Service: very good! Very patient!
