Atour Hotel (Nanjing Xuanwumen) Reviews

Good hotel in general. Good location. The room is quite clean. It is nice and cozy. But for some reason the wall to the bathroom is almost completely see through. If there’s more than one person, one can see another on the toilet. There were many people on the reception. Everyone was nice. But no one knew how to deal with passports from a foreign country. Check in took us way too long.

Inside the room it was neat, but just one glance from the window made me fill I was living in a landfill surrounded by wastes. For the five days of stay it looked the same (see the photos). Very sad. From time to time there was a strong smell of smoking at late evening coming from the corridor. Typical Chinese set of food at breakfast.

Service was excellent, counter staff was willing to assist on many matters - they are very patient and thoughtful and when I checked out they offered me a small bottle of water to take to the airport. The room was clean and housekeeping was done every day. There was also a laundry room if you wish to do laundry.

Around 5 minutes walk from the exit 4 metro station. 15 minutes walk to xuanwu lake and side of Ming city wall. If you like the serenity environment, it is a place for you. There are 2 restourants at the same buildingthat you can give it a try. The room is quite big. The improvement could be the mattress is soft and some part of furniture looks old. The good surprises was the porridge supper every nights. The traveling to xinjieko is 4 to 5 stations.

Great location, about 200m from metro line 1,exit 4. Plenty of Chinese restaurants and cheap foodstalls within 300m. Helpful hotel staff. Only issue was flushing water system undergoing cleanup on the second daily of my stay.

Pretty good location, proximity to metro station, with super helpful front desk. They even offered complementary breakfast to me! Cleanness is superb as well. Enjoyed my stay here!

Our stay was ok. Not what we expected of Atour and the breakfast is all chinese. So disappointing. Nothing really at the hotel in terms of being child friendly and foreign nationals friendly I wouldn’t recommend. Location is 0.

The hotel was clean. The bathroom toilet placement was a bit weird. Good for a short stay but not for a long one.
