The location is not bad, there are subways and buses nearby, free parking is available in front of the hotel, the seats are limited, but I feel that I will not stop the parking space ． There is a rich breakfast, you can eat quite satisfied, and there are many types! And quite delicious ． I am Taiwanese. The reception desk has a Chinese who is very friendly like the boss. Although the accent is like Chinese, it can be clearly communicated in Chinese. Because it rains, I borrowed an umbrella to eat. He lent us his own umbrella. ． You can find many walks nearby. Food, you can find the restaurant with google map. We went to a restaurant within five minutes of walking nearby and felt great. After all, the restaurant is a bit old. The wooden board under the carpet will bark when walking. I feel a little afraid to step on it and become cautious. ． Stayed for two days, I feel quite satisfied, everything is going well, the wifi speed is OK, the price is reasonable, it is recommended ．

A really lovely hotel, 24 hour check in was handy, room was a great size and the kitchenette was handy if staying longer. Really close to train station but in a nice quiet area and quick into the city. Would stay again if ever visiting Munich. Beds all comfy and staff friendly.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sofitel Munich. The room we were staying at 425 had a nice spacious room with many amenities. All the staff were very friendly especially Manager Mr. Umut was very accommodating and very helpful. He was always greeting us with a smile and took care of all our needs and requests. The bar was also very luxurious with many nice cocktails. We will miss Sofitel and will definitely come back next year!

Convenient option for a stay close to the train station. Unfortunately our room was not so well cleaned, you could notice marks of spilled drinks/glasses on the main table. The room is fine, not very spacious but it has all you need. Mattresses and pillows are comfortable. N too air conditioning though, so I would not come back in summer!

Nice stay. Good access with car and good connection to the city center. U-bahn is next to the hotel. Rooms are good. Bunk beds could have higher guardrails. Breakfast is good and you have a lot to choose from. Juice glasses could be bigger (now only 1 dcl). Parking is a bit expensive (18€/day).

It's two years ago this weekend that I stayed in this hotel. I meant to post a review at the time (but I forgot!). Anyway, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Munich. Rates were incredibly good value (when I visited). Room was large, spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The immediate surrounding area isn't exactly pretty. Think functional. But it's very safe and there is a large supermarket next door. As long as you do your research and realise that it's not a city centre location it's a great choice. Public transport in Munich is excellent. There is a tram stop/terminus next to the hotel and a bus stop also (which will bring you to an underground station in a couple of minutes). It takes no longer than about 20/25 minutes to get into the city (with transfers). It's also easy to get to by public transport from the airport (if you plan).

Good hotel. Lovely staff, loyal to understanding, service at the highest level. The hotel itself is located in the center, which already speaks of the convenience of visiting. The hotel was cozing and had good accomodations. Although not too modern, the room was equipped with everything we needed and had great acoustics. Parking in the surroundings was not very easy depending on the moment of the day. Breakfast was nice, with variety of food and typically German food included. The staff was nice but not very welcoming. The neighborhood was not very near to the city center, but that worked out really good for us, since we got to experience the local life.

I booked this hostel last minute, and I've never stayed in a hostel before, so I can't really compare it to other places. Despite reading reviews on Hostelworld about the single rooms being hot, I have no complaints about the room. I stayed in Munich when the temperature had a low of 20 Celcius and a high of 30. I had no issues with the room. I did have a large fan on in the room, which kept it cool. My room also had its own balcony and I sat outside to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfect for those who love their own space or couple. My only gripe was that the WiFi was slow at times, so I couldn't even search the website to test internet speed. I had a data roaming plan, so this wasn't that big of an issue. I would stay here again if I'm back in Munich. A Lidl at the end of the street and the Train station is a 2-minute walk away. It couldn't get better.
