Snow Mushroom Hotel

China's Snow Town
The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, what truly made the stay exceptional was the owner’s hospitality. The owner is not only friendly but also genuinely helpful, always ready to offer tips, advice, or a friendly chat with prompt response. It’s clear that he take pride in making sure every guest feels welcome and well-cared for, adding a personal touch that’s often missing in larger hotels. The room was spotless, warm, and inviting, with all the comforts you’d hope for during a stay. The view from the window was a pleasant surprise; it added a beautiful touch to the experience.

China's Snow Town
The hotel's facilities are of very high quality in Xuexiang. The room we stayed in was very spacious, with two 1.8-meter beds, where children could roll around. The whole house had floor heating and 24-hour hot water, which were very rare in homestays. There was no need to be afraid of the cold, and it was very comfortable to live in. Watching the Spring Festival Gala with a projection was like watching a movie. The screen was very large and almost filled up the entire wall. The housekeeper, Brother Zhang, was very enthusiastic and attentive. He started contacting us a few days before check-in and provided us with itinerary suggestions. On the day of check-in, he also contacted us in advance to help with the luggage and sent a lot of fruit. What touched us most was that when we were leaving, because we were afraid that we would play too late and not have time to go back to the hotel to get our luggage, Brother Zhang carried our heavy bags and dragged the boxes, and took the initiative to help us get to the place where we were going to take the bus. This kind of service was not encountered in other places. The people in Northeast China are really both practical and enthusiastic. Living here feels like returning home! Let's talk about Xuexiang again. There are many things to play, and the price of meals is also OK. It is a little expensive but not outrageous, and it is not much different from other scenic spots. A highly recommended activity is snow rafting on Yangcao Mountain. The 4.5-kilometer-long snow track slides all the way from the top of the mountain to the bottom. It is more fun than skiing, and you can control the speed yourself. It doesn't hurt to roll around, and it is very safe. You can stop at any time to play in the waist-deep snow. Shuai Bin International hotel

The hotel is a few kilometers away from the city center, so driving is not a problem. The hotel is opposite the Guomen Scenic Area. The hotel is large, the rooms are also large, and the scenery outside the window is beautiful. The hotel service staff are very friendly, especially the parking lot management staff. Our car forgot to turn off the lights. I didn't hear the security guard's call, so I went straight to the room. Breakfast is okay, but the coffee is average and instant, which is a bit shabby for a quality hotel.

China's Snow Town
We chose to stay at this hotel due to its proximity to the snow village. It is a very outdated and overpriced hotel. For the premium $400+ I spet I didn't feel it was value for money. It seems the owners do not put their money back into the hotel. The carpet was disgusting, the window sill did not look like it had been cleaned in a long time. The sheets had holes. There was a tissue stuck in the wall. It has aingerjng smoke smell. Some fresh paint and a wipe over would do a lot. We made do because we were really there to see the Snow Village and I am glad we needn't spend much time in the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful to my family and I as we do not speak the language. They were able to help us book a return transfer and also an outing for the day. The breakfast was traditional Chinese and the people around us seemed to be enjoying it. The big letdown was the room, it did seem like no money has been put back into the hotel. It could be a very nice place. For the premium price you would think the hotel would have a free luggage service available.

My photography skills are not that good, but the environment is great. I almost always stay here every time I go to Mudanjiang. The front desk service is very friendly and the experience is great. The hygiene is good and very clean. There was no place to park when I went there before, but this year I went to an underground parking lot, which is more convenient!

The room was warm and clean. The little beauty at the front desk was warm and thoughtful. I will stay next time I travel.
