I saw the hotel that the website said that there are children's entertainment facilities, I was still thinking, I've been there a few times, but I didn't find any children's entertainment facilities, it really isn't! This point should modify the web page introduction. The hotel has a good view, the beach is clean and flat, and the service is excellent. A very tasteful hotel, full of British colonial style, is worth a try.

He offers the warmest of welcomes which I can have no doubt are sincere. The proximity of one of Sri Lanka’ s endless sandy beaches which offer safe swimming for any careful swimmer is an added bonus. Wildlife is on your doorstep and abounds in its wonderful bird life as well as a variety of lizards and a large number of the inevitable chipmunks that offer limitless entertainment. The hostel has the best location: really calm area, just 200mts from the beach and 15 minutes by train from the city center (Colombo). Good atmosphere. Amazing common area. Beautiful sea view. We spent five nights at the lavinia house and we had a lovely time there. We interacted with the owner Nevile, staff and the also the other guest. The place allows you to store your meals if you like to cook. It was is a minute walk to the beach. Station, supermarkets and restaurants. We had a big Room and it’s really clean. Bed was so comfortable and shower was good with hot water, very smart clean bathroom. The common area has a lovely decor and daylight. Great value for money!
