I had a very pleasant stay at Prana Hotel in Hyunpoong. The hotel is very new, and you can immediately feel the modern and well-thought-out design throughout the entire property. Everything is clean, fresh, and maintained to a high standard. What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff - very fluent in English! The reception team in particular was extremely welcoming, helpful, and professional, making check-in and the overall stay very smooth and comfortable. The hotel also offers very convenient parking, which is a big plus if you are traveling by car. In addition, the fitness center is well-equipped and perfect for maintaining your routine while staying there. A nice extra is the small bar, which provides a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. You can enjoy a selection of drinks like beer and gin & tonic, along with some snacks — a simple but very appreciated touch. Overall, Prana Hotel is an excellent choice in Hyunpoong if you are looking for a modern, comfortable stay with great service. I booked already another stay next week.

I went to see baseball and visited it. It was close to Beomeo Station, so it was easy to access to Lions Park. There are two showers in the bathroom, a washbasin outside the bathroom, and a family of four is separated from the bathroom. It was easy to use. I could easily solve it with ramen and bread in the morning, and the boss was kind.

Highly recommended for those who don't want to carry their luggage around as the hotel provides free luggage storage and is located just a short walk from Dongdaegu Station. The hotel entrance was a bit confusing at first because is also a coffee shop but overall everything was great and well worth the stay. The puffer fish soup served for breakfast was delicious and was one of the highlights of my visit.

I had high hopes for this establishment. My room was equipped with a massage chair, which I was eager to utilize. However, its condition suggested the need for a protective covering, such as a towel, before use. Unfortunately, this was not feasible as only four hand towels were provided for my entire stay, an insufficient quantity for personal drying needs. During my extended stay, housekeeping services were not performed on the additional night while I was away. Furthermore, the room's air purifier, while present, proved essential due to persistent cigarette smoke infiltration from an adjacent area, which was strong enough to disrupt my sleep on the second night. Consequently, this establishment did not meet my expectations. The convenience of its location does not outweigh the aforementioned issues.

I've stayed in multiple Brown Dot hotels from Songtan to Busan and now here in Daegu. This is probably the nicest one of them all so far! Love the old brick style and the decor to go with it. The location is great as it's right in the city. Walking distance from a Korean-styled Starbucks that's very popular. This is the first time I've ever used a Kiosk to check-in and out which was very convenient with an English option. I must say that the check-in time is probably the latest I've ever experienced which is 5pm, but I was able to leave my luggage in the dining area with no issue then come back. Definitely might try to stay here again if I come back and the price was great as I'm a Diamond Tier Trip.com user so it was only $56 including tax

It's great value for money, very economical. The room has a large bathtub, and the bathroom even has sauna steam – it's wonderful! I bought a bath bomb and enjoyed two relaxing baths. The room is spacious, the internet is excellent, and the open-air glass roof lets in plenty of sunlight. There are convenience stores and various restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. The subway exit is just about 200 meters to the right after you exit the room – Donggu Hall Station. It's very close to Dongdaegu Train Station. You can walk to the train station, and there's a Lotte Department Store shopping plaza near the train station. The subway station itself has all sorts of delicious food and shopping options.

It is about 170m away from the MRT Dacheng Park Station. When you exit the MRT station, you will almost reach the hotel. The location is excellent. The hotel aunt is very friendly. Although the aunt speaks all Korean, she basically uses gestures and Google Translate to communicate without any problems. I highly recommend it. I will choose this place next time I come.

【Great Location & Cozy Stay – But Shower Needs Work】! I stayed here with my mum for 5 nights over Christmas. The location is fantastic—just steps from Daegu Station and Lotte Department Store, with convenience stores nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and warm, with plenty of space for luggage. Beds with electric underblankets were amazing— we slept so well and felt refreshed for the next day! Staff were friendly too. The only downside was the shower experience. The bathroom ventilation fan couldn’t be turned off, so it felt cold. The shower head holder was positioned too high, so we had to hold it by hand. The water pressure was intense and strong—honestly, it felt like needles hitting the skin, which was bit painful when the shower head was close...we had to hold it farther away, but then the cold airflow made us shiver. Shampooing and washing became a juggling act between turning off the shower (and feeling chilled) or holding the shower head with one hand so it was hard to shower comfortably. Finally, we ended up trembling while getting dressed. Overall, this hotel is excellent value for money given its location and cleanliness. Despite the shower issue, we would definitely stay here again and hope the bathroom gets warmer next time with a gentler shower head!

I gave 1 extra star because the man at the desk kept my bag safe when it needed to be. So he did the job well. Otherwise, zero stars will be given for the service of the old lady at the desk. She was unfriendly and insulting!!! First, she doesn't speak English, so she should use a translator to communicate with the customers. Instead, she started talking in an unfriendly way in Korean when she knew I couldn’t speak Korean. Second, because I don't understand and she doesn't understand me, I have to ask my Korean friend to talk with her. She is still not friendly. And not try to understand for me, because I don't know what my friend and her were talking about. So she showed me that she got annoyed with my misunderstanding of her. Third, and the most horrible of all. She was very rude the next day. I came to her desk, because I needed something. I have just shown my face and wanna say hi, with a friendly look at her. But she started to behave rudely right away before I could say hi. By saying something loudly in Korea and weirdly using both hands and looking angry. So I felt very uninvited to ask something. So I go away from her. Back to my room. I found my stuff (toothbrush and other things of mine) that I forgot in the other room. That I forgot to take with me, on the floor!!!!!! The worst there is a desk for face washing next to the door. So she could put it in there. It's so onhygien with my toothbrush without a cover put on the floor. I have never gotten that horrible service before. Even when I go the a very cheap hostel! I was in a good mood to discover this city. And these are bad memories I got from her. She has just ruined my good mood for the holiday there. My friends suggested that I go to this Motel. Now my friends know how stupid this service I got from this lady. They won't come anymore in the future! If the old lady doesn’t like foreigners then she shouldn't work there. So it won’t ruin someone's holiday. I hope the manager of their company does something with the service that the lady gave to the customer. I don’t complain usually. But this is unacceptable! I am planning to go regularly to Daegu because my friend lives there. This motel is in a perfect location for me. But now I would rather go to a hotel that is far away than this Motel. So you have just lost 1 regular customer because of this stupid service. I am still angry if I think about this service with my toothbrush on the floor.

Great value for money. I was worried because I saw a review that hot water did not come out, but it is worth using as it is. But the faucet is different, so you can turn it on here and there. There is a coffee pot, a dryer, no pajamas, good bedding. There's noodles on the first floor.
