Monschau Hotels with Wi-Fi

I'm just home after a two night stay at Best Time Monschau and I would like to say how very pleased and satisfied I was with this hotel. The staff were friendly, kind, and very helpful. The room was ideal and had everything I needed. The hotel is very near the centre of Monschau so it's perfectly situated. I will certainly be recommending this hotel to my friends and family.

The friendly and competent service at the reception. All tips and tips are best provided here. You feel well lifted here until you enter the room. Since the hotel has been re-looking by several investors, this is also noticeable in the hotel and in the hotel. Investments in the rooms that would be urgently needed will not be made. Here the money taken will not be reinvested anyway. Disgrace. Requiring for breakfast €19 is already a performance. Interesting are the industry mirror eggs that are ready to be heated. Just put on the plate and wait with the time, they change their color into cake brown. Otherwise, not the best quality articles that are ready for a spot of eye. To recommend a breakfast visit in one of the many cafes in Monschau. Where the price performance ratio is absolutely consistent. You can say a hotel visit without breakfast for one to two days is still in order.

The hotel is central however you need to park in the public car park which is a short walk and 7 euros per night. We upgraded to a superior room (4) which gave us a bigger room with a river view. It had a large bed which was very comfortable. The hotel does need to move into this century! Only 2 of the 4 windows had secondary glazing which made it noisy - especially as it is opposite a church with a clock that chimes every 15 minutes. The bathroom had 2 sinks however the 3 lights above them were not working. We reported this and a member of staff came up with some bulbs but this did not resolve the issue. He advised they would be fixed the following day which didn’t happen - I suspect they had not been working for some time as whoever cleaned the room would have seen it when they cleaned the sinks. It wouldn’t have been so bad if there had been a mirror in the bedroom but the only mirror was in the bathroom. and you struggled to see what you were doing. The shower screen was so narrow the shower sprayed all over the floor. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. The breakfast was continental but they had scrambled eggs and sausages. They served you with tea/coffee. Internet is free with a good signal

One of the oldest buildings in this beautiful town. Fine panelling. Our room was very good value and comfortable with views. Sensible shower. Parking is a problem everywhere so arrive early. The owners had made exceptional efforts to make the dining room charming. A good breakfast. I had booked the wrong date but the owner solved the problem. I would definitely stay again. A camera is a must for the town.
