The private bath outside was a perfect onsen temperature and the place was clean and comfortable. Very pleased that I booked our stay here. The parking space outside our house allowed our car rental to fit adequately.

It’s a good private house. But I’m won’t recommend if weather is cold or raining, or if you’re traveling with young kids. I travelled with my family with two toddlers. The bath and onsen are outdoors, not quite well lit and not well covered. The hot water water pressure is low, and the water is either very hot or very cold. It was a cold, raining and windy that night. It was a horrible experience for us because of the above, and the kids had a lot of trouble taking a bath. And we were worried they might catch a cold. And strangely the door lock of the bath is locked from the outside and not from the inside. Also remember to buy food before entering. We bought ours and cooked our own dinner. Otherwise, it’s a good private house, probably best for adults.

I thought I booked a single house, but it was one of the floors. The room is just like a big shop. The bathroom is outside and there is no heating.

I couldn't book a hot spring hotel in Kurokawa, so I chose a vacation home in the nearby Zangzi Hot Spring on Ctrip. You have to arrive before 6 o'clock, otherwise the staff will get off work. The house is very old, the name is "Mei", and the other house is very new, it should be much more comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped; the indoor hot spring is very hot, you have to test the temperature before entering the water. The towels are small, so bring your own bath towels.
