The hotel is in the north, and the airport is in the south (a bit dizzy), 50 minutes drive from the airport. There are hotels on the beach. This French hotel is 3 stars locally. The hotel is not big but still beautiful. If you have time, you can spend a day in the hotel. The hotel is very private. There is a supermarket on the left and restaurants and some shops on the right. The clothes sold are at tourist prices. Go out on the right, near the sea, and there is a police station. Around 15 from Port Louis The service staff are good, the breakfast is full but there are really few things... Speaking French has an advantage over English. There is a 20% discount for spa reservations 48 hours in advance, and helicopters can also be booked. The hotel does not provide slippers and toothbrushes, please bring your own, as well as adapters. When checking out on the 7th, the front desk will charge 160 and say that the two bottles of water in the room are chargeable. Damn, the little brother who checked in clearly said that it is free. There are tea bags and coffee bags next to it. What do you label? No, the small bottle of water sells for 10 rupees and you charge 80? ? ? I was anxious to wait for my friend to take me to the airport without going to talk. In short, friends who go to Maoqiu pay special attention to the tips. People in restaurants and supermarkets should pay attention to it. There are more Chinese people. Tips are 1-2 US dollars per day. If you encounter a service staff who does not say hello to deduct the tip in advance, you will become a habit that Chinese people are stupid.

I had a lovely stay at the Veranda Tamarin - the resort, decor, facilities and layout exceeded my expectations. The all inclusive package was very good value for money although it would have been better if there was a wrist band which signified to staff that guests were all inclusive so that we didn't have to continually sign for every drink. At weekends the music and partying from the beach was loud as the property is very nearby and obviously the resort can't control the volume of this however the bar music was also loud and could maybe have stopped at midnight rather than 2am. The restaurant and bar staff were all very friendly and helpful. On the all inclusive package you were able to eat with a subsidy in the a la carte restaurant which was good and you also got money off trips booked through the hotel which was also good value. The spa treatment (massage) I had was disappointing and also overpriced in my view.

First of all, the location is very convenient. I was driving by car. I picked up the car at the airport and drove 11 kilometers to the hotel. The hotel is not large, but the sparrows are small and well-organized. The swimming pool, bar, restaurant and garden are fully equipped. It's just that the room decoration is a bit dated. But the novelty is that the location is quite good, the hotel's private beach area connects to the famous attraction Blue Bay. My room is on the ground floor. The balcony door opens to the lower level garden. On the side of the steps, there is a swimming pool. On the other side is the cafeteria, where the exterior is the vast sea. While eating breakfast, I saw a foreigner and old couple snorkeling. At noon, I went diving with excitement. Under the sea are corals and colorful Nemos. Extremely excited. Tip: Be sure to apply sunscreen! Important things to say three times! I was too excited and thought it would be okay for a while. I forgot to apply sunscreen on my back. Tanning is small and sunburn is big! I read other people's reviews before and said that the food was average, but I used his buffet dinner, which is very suitable for my taste. Better than the buffet I used to eat at a hotel in Sri Lanka. The hotel really has few Asian faces.

My wife and i spent 2 weeks here. We found the Hotel peaceful and very friendly. One of us has a food allergy, Gluten Free. The staff & chefs could not do enough for us, even offered to cook extra meals if there was nothing we fancied. Thank you so very much to Max & Dhiresh. All the staff including Shahana, Vinisha & Manisha to name a few made our stay most welcoming and friendly. Don`t forget this is a 3T hotel but the staff make it feel much more. Thanks also to the Pastry Chef (who we never got his name) but we had fresh gluten free bread with every meal and a special Anniversary & Birthday cake. Our Rep Warren was also very helpful and knowledgeable about the island. There are dogs and cats that roam around the grounds but are very timid and will not approach people. Overall this is a fantastic little hotel if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. We have made some good friends during our stay and will be keeping in touch with them. We are also looking forward to revisiting the Jalsa Beach in the future

It is a pretty cozy, quiet apartment hotel nearby grandbay , Super Unmarket . I forgot the mention the kid when booking, but finally got free room cost for kid , the local owner has deep and friendly sentimental emotion to Chinese people cause his daughter was studying in China and a successful doctor in Mauritius with her fruitful medical course in China. Great hotel . But the I have to complain a little bitter breakfast , really less options and the sparrows were always flying and surrounding you to share your food .

This was the third time that I stayed at L'Oiseau de L'Ocean in Flic en Flac, and, as always, it was a great experience. Not only is the facilities great (especially the family rooms), the staff is very friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this tourist residence to anyone planning on spending time in Flic en Flac.

The location is good, the hotel can provide free snorkeling service, you can also see a lot of fish snorkeling next to the hotel, the sea is very clear, great.

Lovely resort with friendly and super accommodating staff who couldn't do enough for you. The manager was also out and about checking that everyone was happy with their stay. Location is good with plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as the resort buffet. The main town is about 20mins walk away, although there is a taxi rank opposite the resort so that is also an option, we uses the guys for longer rides and they were reliable and reasonably priced. The beach is fairly non-existent and very rocky, the water isn't sheltered like other part of the island so gets more choppy/less clear but the pool is lovely. The rooms we were in were quite run down and in need of modernising on the plus side this is happening in stages and from the pictures the updated rooms look great. I think after this season only the newer updated rooms will be available. The buffet breakfast was plenty full with loads of options to choose from. Maybe just avoid any uncovered bread the bird have been eating! Overall we had a lovely stay and would stay again but maybe once the rooms are updated
