everything was good except the food. it was a major let down. it was either too salty, lacking tase or only can taste the chilli powder. Even the breakfast was a letdown having only Sri Lankan and Bread and pastries, which was not freshly baked. No tea of coffee available unless you order it separately. overall 3 out of 5. Hotel and location is good. Staff was very friendly too.

The villa-style hotel is located on the mountain. The room has its own swimming pool. The overall environment of the hotel is great! Especially the dinner in the restaurant is highly recommended, with 9 local Sri Lankan food, equipped with a dedicated chef and music performance, and the price is a little expensive.

The hotel is nice, spacious beautiful room at check in we were treated to a refreshing juice. There is a big pool on the grounds and a big jacuzzi with hot water in the room.  Minuses of the hotel: Far from the attractions. Taxi from the center only go there for the price of pick me x2. Hotel taxi are 3 times more expensive. There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around. Now let's talk about the premium status and the five races. In 7 years of traveling, this is the first hotel that did not have a bathrobe, slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. The plumbing in the shower leaks, and the doors creak so much that you could call the spirits at night. Regarding the attention to the customer. I mentioned my upcoming birthday in conversation with the manager, but this fact was not used in any way to show any form of attention from the hotel. This is a huge miscalculation on the part of the staff at a premium hotel. We also had a late departure and our request to delay in the hotel for a couple of hours was refused. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the service and flexibility of the staff, as well as individual approach to customers, does not correspond to the premium level and requires improvement.

Booked the Danbulak Kandalam Heritage Hotel, but later said the hotel was full, let ’s change the hotel, changing the hotel we wanted before the trip was really uncomfortable at first, then Ctrip let us choose the hotel ourselves because of time I was nervous when I chose the water garden hotel, but I did n’t have much hope, but the staying experience was very good, the rooms are comfortable, the environment is quiet, you can overlook the Lion Rock. Too kind. The owner of the inn was raining on arrival and was very cold. I was able to relax very much by welcoming you with an umbrella and recommending a shower to the big tree. We also had a great lunch set despite the night stay. I am very grateful that the tea set unique to the plateau is very delicious. Thank you very much.

The heritage Kandalama Hotel is in the heart of the Gungal near a lake. The hotel was designed with consideration and respect for the environment, the animals that live there and the nature that surrounds the hotel. The room is cozy and well-equipped and includes a balcony overlooking the jungle. The infinity pool overlooks a lake where elephants and birds stay. We received a pleasant welcome from the hotel staff. The dining room is immersed in green and the breakfast is great. We received excellent service and personal attention from the entire staff at the hotel. We arrived at the hotel without luggage and they made sure to coordinate the arrival of the luggage for us. We liked Nalinda the kind guide from the hotel who took us on a morning tour and since then we became friends. Nalinda took care of our well-being even after we left the hotel. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay. Definitely recommended for those who want to rest and relax in a dreamy place.

I made a reservation the day before, but it took more than 30 minutes to check in because I couldn't confirm the reservation. The room is large enough. Did the water smell a little unpleasant? It's about that. There is no restaurant nearby, and I think it is a premise to access by car.

Located about 10 minutes from the centre of Dambulla, Tuktuk is a quiet hotel surrounded by a mango forest. Several monkeys jumped from time to time and jumped into the hotel's attic. The breakfast is plentiful and the service is quite in place. I feel that the occupancy rate is not high, which may be the reason for the location. There is a convenience store at the door.
