Stayed for 2 nights and the overall quality is good, a Hilton standard. Location and view is great. All of the personnel are very helpful and try to maximize your happiness during the stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. And then the staff: everyone - be it at the front desk, the dining area or your house keeping personnel are really fabulous, friendly and will always try to make your stay simply great. We felt so welcome. Thank you Hilton!

Our staying in Mirsoum Hotel was perfect. The hotel is located in the center of old city, close of all shop and city places. The hotel is not directly on the main street, which makes it quiet (take into account that to access it there are some meters to walk and stairs to climb) We slept in Room which is beautiful, big and very clean. (Suite Room / 101) The Mirsoum team is very welcoming, helped us with our luggage, advice us for the shopping and place to visite. Hakke speak english and was very available for all our need. He presented to us a driver Mohamed, to visit places out of the city, good guy, we spent a good time with him. If you need, a driver doesn't hesited to ask to meet Mohamed. (Turkish speaker but Google translate is our friend:) ) And to finish, the breakfast was wonderful, the better breakfast that we took during our staying (We made 6 differents hotels.) We slept In Mirsoun only one night, it's been a surprise and gift from my husband for our 4th wedding year . Perfect gift.

We loved this hotel! It’s like staying in a palace. People may be bothered in that your room may not have a window, but it did have an air conditioning unit. The bathroom is tiny and a bit cramped, but there’s good water pressure. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. The setting is magnificent with chairs outside where you can watch the sunset. Reception was very helpful in procuring a taxi/guide for us. Not for weak knees as there are lots of steps with no hand rails.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful mansion and words alone cannot express our experience. A truely unforgettable one. The attention to detail, cleanliness, spotless bathroom, presentation of rooms, delicious cuisine, and the most kindest and considerate staff I have come across in Turkey. Genuine hospitality like we have never experienced before. Our needs were met in every way and beyond, right down to organising a private driver to tour us, taking us to all the places we wanted to visit in our short stay. Honestly there is no way this could have been achieved without your help and effort. I am most greatful for having crossed paths with you all, Mr Mahmut Bey, Mr Servet Bey, Mrs Dilber Hanim and our most attentive Mr Bulent Bey who served us breakfast every morning and made us feel so special as well as the chef and cleaning staff… and heartfelt thanks to Mr Kiasim Bey for driving us and showing us all around Mardin and Midyat. Thank You for everything you all did for us, it was very much appreciated! Our holiday in Turkey this time was 2 months long visiting many different locations and places, all the way from Australia. Mardin however was something else, and really stood out amongst the rest. If you are looking for a historical & culturally rich experience please don’t bypass this place, but especially don’t overlook this mansion. I must add that we dined in the hotel restaurant one evening and the the food was like nothing we have experienced during our times in Turkey. This was definitely on another level. Absolutely delicious, using the finest of products and quality that is truely unsurpassed . After your stay, I can assure you, you will not leave disappointed but feeling overwhelmed by the beauty and charm of this place. I personally was left emotional and humbled by the history of this place, the heartfelt hospitality and the kindness of each and every staff member. A very nice and centrally located hotel. Very traditional and noble furnished. We had rooms with views of the flat land of Mesopotamias. Hammer views where you feel ...that you look at the sea. The important attractions are accessible by foot. Very friendly and premature staff. A super delicious breakfast, even dinner was excellent delicious. The hotel has its own parking and the car is parking by the staff. It is just recommendable !!

A beautiful hotel! In the center of the old city. Nearby taxis, buses, shops, the main area of the city, lots of restaurants, archaeological museum, tour desk. The hotel price is not very high. Breakfast is small but delicious and saturated. Hotel is very authentic, such folklore, colorful. I love such places. Staff is very nice and friendly. We had a nice, cozy, quiet room. Very good mattresses. Tea, coffee, water in the room. On the third floor, an open track with views of Mardin and Syria.

Stay away! This hotel must have changed hands since any good reviews. It needs to be taken completely off your list. Thick with cigarette smoke as soon as you walk in, chronically dusty and mouldy and extremely cold. When you turn over in bed you get a puff of old dusty smoke from y to be pillow. I didn’t even want to leave my bags in this place. I’ve never experienced such a disconnect between the hotel website and reality. I checked multiple times if I was in the right place. I’ve actually become sick with a head hold since staying there. Just to top it off the manager on reception was really rude. Maybe it’s been a long cold winter for these guys, but that’s no reason to give them another chance. I have been living in Turkey for over a year and have rarely been disappointed with the famous hospitality until now. This is the first time I’ve been unlucky. Seriously, I really want to make sure no one else books this place until it cleans up its act. There are many great hotels in Mardin, Kadim Otel is no longer one of them. Sorry!
