My stay at Ola Hostel left me with a rather disappointing impression overall. While there were a few redeeming features, several issues made it a less than enjoyable experience. Firstly, the evening atmosphere in the lobby was simply lackluster. There was no music or any form of entertainment, which created a somewhat lifeless environment. This made it quite challenging to socialize with other guests or even just relax and unwind after a day of exploring the city. While they advertised a ”free breakfast” offering, the catch was that it was only available until 9 am. For travelers who like to sleep in or take their mornings at a leisurely pace, this limited breakfast window could be a significant inconvenience. Another noticeable drawback was the apparent disinterest of the hostel staff after breakfast hours. It felt as though they didn't want to be bothered with guest inquiries or assistance, which can leave guests feeling unsupported and unwelcome. On a more positive note, my room had a veranda, which was a pleasant feature and provided a nice place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. In conclusion, while the room with a veranda was a plus, the dead evening lobby, absence of music, restricted breakfast hours, and the staff's disengagement during certain times significantly impacted my overall experience at Ola Hostel, making it a less-than-ideal choice for my stay.

Centrally located apartment complex with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. It’s a self check in unit where we get the code for the door which is getting changed every single day. Small, cute and comfy apartment unit on the 44th floor which had a great view of the part of the city where there was a balcony but it’s unable to use. Kitchen included necessary pots and pans for cooking so i cooked everyday here. Good aircon and ample hot water in the bathroom. The wall sockets in the kitchen and in the bathroom don’t work so please get them fixed. We liked the interior inside it was soothing. Everything is thought after here at the apartment.
Location is great with everything you need in a walkable distance. Great part of the city. We fully enjoyed and totally recommend.
Novotel is conveniently located in a redeveloped riverfront commercial area in Mandaluyong City. Here, you will find the convenience of having everything you need just minutes away. The hotel room is clean and neat! We rented a premium suite and they even have a kitchen utensils, rice cooker and induction stove we can use for preparing food. The staffs were also accomodating and they even followed my special request which is to prepare a birthday surprise for my wife and a baby crib. They gave us a complimentary cake and some themed balloons that works well with the room interior. Overall it was a fun and relaxing experience i'd give it a 5/5 👌

Got the best stay so far! The unit's very new and very clean. The owners always stay online to answer questions by me, especially about netflix's several updates during our stay. The unit has everything you need for convenience; utensils, slippers, towels, ref, heater, rice cooker, netflix (as mentioned), Alfa mart (just across the bldg.), there's also pools available for 150pesos I think, near MOA (there were trikes near if you don't want to walk from the condo to MOA)
Great for unwinding couples. Just remember to be responsible while staying to keep the facility great and beautiful🙏
Kudos to the owners, keep it up!💯

Was a good stay, although we have to shift room due to Aircon issue. Also the room maid did not do such a good job cleaning the room last 2 nights.
Location is good.
Some friendly front desk except for the staff named Molly (gave us a annoyed facial reaction) nonetheless we recommend Sam and Charisse.

This place is UNICORN in Manila. My wife and I started our honeymoon at Gordon's place. It was very chic and nicely decorated. We both felt very much relaxed and luxurious and in awe of the location and amenities. The apartment is neat and clean with smart tech gadgets. The swimming pool is superb with sunset ocean view in 5th floor. The Okada casino just few steps away from this place, and there are lots of restaurants, bars, fountain shows. I heard there are more casinos and malls around but we might explore next time. We would highly recommend staying here and we would like to stay again on our next adventure in Manila. It was just what we both wanted from a place to stay, a good mix of home and away. We really loved the art and style that created a very relaxed and positive atmosphere. Gordon and his assistant Marie was very helpful and detailed with the process of checking in and making sure we were comfortable.

Holiday Inn Newport offers a decent stay with comfortable rooms and friendly staff, but considering the price is similar to Citadines, I’d personally opt for Citadines. While Holiday Inn is fine for a short stay, Citadines offers more modern amenities and a better overall value for the same price. If you’re looking for more up-to-date facilities and a livelier atmosphere, Citadines would be my choice.

One of the best hotels near Metro Manila, the rooms are clean, spacious and well-maintained with Netflix in the room and stable WIFI internet connection. The foods at The Bistro by Leblanc are excellent specially the Pizzas, Bacon Slab, Roast Beef, Salmon and their special Sapin sapin. They also have wide selection of Breads and Pastries for your afternoon snacks. Kids enjoyed at the pool area. Our overall experience in Leblanc Hotel and Resort is very excellent, we will definitely recommend this place to our Friends and Relatives and for sure we will stay here again soon for another relaxing and enjoyable Foodtrip and Vacation.

Excellent
GGuest UserEverything is okay but no bathrobe when I am going to swimming I have to use a towel instead. During staying here somewhat noisy because there are many parties . Breakfast is various and good , recommend to stay here.
GGuest UserIt is a hotel with excellent price quality ratio. The staff is extremely friendly and available. The rooms are modern and functional. There is even the topper above the mattresses! The room is cleaned every day. The tower's roof is very well-organised, with various locations to cook, if you want. The hotel is huge, so it will be easy to be satisfied. The outdoor neighborhood is not the best, but it is not their fault, all Malate and Ermita are not very much. So it is great when you come back, having such a comfortable hotel.
CCartagena2019This hotel is under management of a grander Manila Hotel. Rooms are large and modern, the servgice ipeccable, and breakfast is great. It also has a very good Chinese retsuaryrant. Curiously, it does not have the bar. I stayed two months until it closed due to covid. It is only about ten minutes walk form large SM shopping centre . Highly recommended
SSheryl BodeñaThe staff here are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. Even though the building has an older charm, it's been well maintained. Our room was spotless, and we appreciated not having to request housekeeping, as they took care of it daily. We loved the newly renovated pools, which seemed to be heated, and the jacuzzi was the perfect place to unwind. The food was delicious, but keep in mind they have a dress code for the breakfast buffet and require proper swimwear at the pool. The only downside was the elevators — they were a bit slow on Sunday, but the wait times were fine on other days.
The WiFi connection isn’t the most reliable if you're planning to work, so it's a good idea to have a backup like a mobile hotspot. There's minimal noise from the renovation outside, but it's not too disruptive. The hotel TV is an older flat-screen but has all the standard cable channels. The AC works well, and all the essentials like the shower, faucet, bidet, toilet, and phones are in good working order. The bedding, mattresses, and pillows are clean and very comfortable, ensuring a restful stay.
*We stayed for 4D3N to unwind and celebrate my son's birthday.*
GGuest UserThe hotel is generally good, but the receptionist was quite disappointing. Her name is Cyril. I had booked a Deluxe room with a view of Manila Bay and paid online, so I expected my room to be secured as I have communicated with the hotel multiple times about it and even indicated my request upon booking.
After traveling on a 22-hour flight to the Philippines from another country, I was excited to see my room facing Manila Bay.
While I was busy with my three pieces of luggage talking to the bellman, another lady arrived as a walk-in guest. She went to the reception desk before me and booked a regular room. I overheard Cyril, the receptionist, upgrading this lady's room for free to a Deluxe room with a Manila Bay view.
After Cyril handed the key card to that lady, I approached her and reminded her that I had paid online and booked a Deluxe room facing Manila Bay. To my surprise, she informed me that the last room intended for me had been given to the other lady. She didn’t apologize at all.
Additionally, she overlooked my booking and only gave me a key for one night instead of the two nights I had reserved. Once again, she didn’t apologize. Throughout our interaction, she never smiled, was very unresponsive, and failed to make eye contact with me, which I found quite rude. She didn't offer to assist me or explain the breakfast arrangements or any basic hotel policies.
I felt overwhelmed and cried in my room because I was exhausted from the long journey and felt I had been treated unfairly by Cyril.
I hope the hotel takes the time to address this issue with the receptionist and provides her with proper training in hospitality, or she could become a negative asset for the hotel.
MMarnie AmbaNice hotel...I would like to recommend this hotel if your planning to stay in Manila..Very accessible sa lahat..Malapit sa mall Robinson Manila, madaming resto at higit sa lahat malapit din sa Luneta.....
GGuest UserAn unmined gem. Elegant old-world interiors with checkerboard floors in the lobbies and hallways, intricate wrought-iron railings, and beautiful Spanish tiles and brocade wallpaper in the suites. Some common areas, like the central courtyard, need a little TLC but are quietly lovely with trailing flowers and birds chirping above. The pool is a good size, not overly large, but with a great bay view. Parking is adequate for guests though might be a struggle if there is an event in the 1000-person ballroom. We had a gorgeous, comfortable corner suite with windows overlooking the bay on one side and the park on the other side. The giant king bed was luxurious and a delight to sleep on, and the huge bathtub was a treat for the kids. The hotel cafe has a delicious breakfast buffet featuring different regional dishes, and there is also a rooftop restaurant and bar with a perfect panorama for cocktails paired with the famous Manila Bay sunset. There are some quirky policies though, like the need to pay on the spot for ala carte orders rather than charging them to your room. Also because this is an old building, there is kind of a split floor plan where the hotel has two wings. Each wing has its own suites but only one has direct access to the poolside and spa, so if you're in the other one, you need to pass thru the lobby and transfer elevators to get there. It wasn't a dealbreaker for us, but is something to consider when you book. The best part though was the service. Every person was warm and gracious, and a real pleasure to deal with. Rushdee at the front desk and Prince at the roofdeck took exceptional care of our family during our stay. It is also walking distance to family attractions like the Manila Ocean Park, Museo Pambata, and of course Rizal Park. All in all a memorable and wonderful place to stay in the city of Manila.
EELPGo Hotel -Ermita is legit value for money. Though it is categorized as a budget hotel, it exceeds in performance: (1) It uses keycards to swipe for entry at the elevators; (2) Its elevators are amazingly fast & efficient; (3) The rooms are spacious. Well-partitioned spaces; (4) Separate bath & toilet; (5) Change of towels & make up bed, though by request, are being done considerately; (6) Hot & cold water available on both bath & toilet; (7) Robinson’s Mall is a block away; (8) 7 minutes walk to SLEC; (9) Very accessible with plenty of transport options to choose from. Philippine Rabbit Terminal Avenida to the hotel costs Php 170 more or less via Grab; (10) Customer care is of high quality. Staff so polite especially its housekeeping team. Very fast check in. Only there is extra cost for early check in; (11) Plenty of hangers; (12) Presence of fire extinguisher, sprinklers & alarm; (13) Presence of extra chair; (14) Spacious luggage desktops. (15) There is parking space with extra charge; (16) Spacious hallways, lobby, play activities, cushioned seats; (17) Accessible light switches & big desktop in between twin sharing beds
Downsides are: (1) Airconditionjng units must have regular maintenance cleaning; (2) Tiles need extra scrubbing; (3) Accumulation of water in bathroom drain ways
GGuest UserA hard place to find, you have to call a customer service representative just to tell you where is the exact location. The Reddoorz @ grand lodge is located with in the premises of the official Grand lodge which is by the way close, ao you have to go arounr and around to find the place. Which is exhausted! And they serve bfast at 9am!!! 🤦🏽♀️ the only good thing about is the customer service of reddoorz, kudos to them they are so very helpful. But for the property not a good experience tho.
