Hotels near MGM MACAU, Macau

Our family booked the Platinum Onsen Room, last December 31, 2024, to January 1, 2025 and we thought it was simply perfect for our hotel staycation.  From the moment we arrived, a Filipino staff in check-in area was very welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home.  The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with a private onsen that provided a luxurious and relaxing experience, and perfect for family.  Though the views from our room are not the one we expected. We booked Platinum (Resorts World) Garden Onsen Room, it’s quite pricey but since we want to experience the onsen we are okay with that price, Macau Tower view as we saw that on the picture in trip.com are one we choose, because we thought there is fireworks display in Macau, sad to say no fireworks display this year 2025 in Macau tower.  Anyway the amenities at Yoho Hotel were fantastic! My boys and I loved the onsen room, as it was warm and inviting, and the amenities in hotel especially the gym. On New Year's Eve, we had a small celebration, we thought we can sing outside (onsen) coz there is small table, on our room but hotel called us twice 😂 So our New year eve night is not as special as it is. For us our staycation is just a waste of money. Anyway i want to commend Jape and the filipino in check-in area for being so helpful and mindful on our needs. (forgot to get the name) they are both friendly and helpful. Not being biased but having a Filipino staff is very good coz they are all welcoming and friendly.  But overall, our stay at Yoho Hotel was okay. We all relaxed. But I will not recommend this room, if your family like to have fun coz they will scold you 😂

I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for 3 adults and 1 teen. First time in Macau. We were pleasantly surprised and very much impressed by the complimentary snacks and drinks which includes daily 2 bottled water, sprite, coke, non-gassy sweet bottled drink, beer and even a bottle of red wine! There is even coffee beans and coffee grinder for you to grind and make your own coffee! We did not drink the wine as not a wine drinker, neither did we bring it home cos find it a hassle to put into luggage. The staff is very friendly. The only inconvenience is that the hotel is located in a narrow lane and there is no proper hotel lobby where U can take taxi. We have to walk about 2 mins to go main road to catch a taxi. But other than that, hotel is clean and it is near the Ruins of St Paul and few other places. Best part is it is near Koi Kei bakery where I logged 2 giant bags of almond pastry snacks back home.

A new hotel with great value for money. First of all, the location is very good. It is located in the residential area of ​​Taipa in downtown Macau. There are many bus lines at the door. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Guanye Street. Of course, there are also direct bus lines. There are many direct bus lines to major entertainment cities, and it only takes 30 minutes to walk. There are many ice cream shops, grills, and McDonald's around the hotel. There is a 7-11 downstairs, and there is a 24-hour supermarket nearby. It's so convenient. Let’s talk about the room. The equipment is basically Xiaomi, quite new, hygienic and clean. The price in Macau is definitely more cost-effective than the holiday. Yes, yes, there is a well-known dessert shop downstairs, which is super delicious and authentic.

Superb location! One minute walk from airport departure and 3 minutes walk to MRLT to different hotspots of Macau. Facility has been well maintenance; however, the wall might not be very good in sound proof as I could hear people talking when they passed by my room door.

It is not an exaggeration to say that guests feel at home. I was very satisfied with the whole process, so I asked the two managers who received me at that time. When I first arrived at the lobby, Jackson, a very handsome boy, took the initiative to ask whether I would check in and other information. He immediately helped to place the luggage and kept an eye on the check-in queue. Then he helped to take it to the room. When checking in, Manager Wu Yating received me. During the greeting, I learned that I was staying with my elders. She also introduced the hotel services and travel guides, and arranged a room with a good view. My family liked it very much. I also accompanied Jackson to the room from the beginning of check-in. I introduced the room and the use of tablets, hotel services, breakfast, travel guides, mini bar, etc. in detail. It was very warm and considerate! If it weren't for the change in the itinerary, I really hope to stay a few more nights. When I checked out later, it was Manager Wang Wenya, who was also very patient. When I learned that we still had to go shopping, he patiently answered and shared, and took the initiative to ask if we needed to temporarily store the luggage before coming back, so that we didn't have to carry the suitcases around. It must be praised!

I had a wonderful time staying at Andaz Macau. While room upgrade was subject to availability, all the staff tried their best to fulfill our requests and made the most of our stay. The room was spacious and equipped with modern facilities. By far this was the most generous hotel that we have ever stayed, so many welcome gifts, free lounge with tasty cookies, little gifts from their turndown services and not to mention the delicious complimentary cake provided for our special occasion. Breakfast selections at Andaz Kitchen were also very complete and delicious that we got to try some famous Portuguese and Macanese specialties. The staff were all friendly and helpful but I’d like to specifically mention the warm and pleasant personality lady in medium length hair wearing a black beret at the breakfast venue who met all our needs even provided our daughter with a gift while she was crying. I’d definitely go back should I have another chance to travel to Macau.

What a five star experience should be. The organization of the check in process was smooth and efficient. The rooms were clean and pristine. The service is what you expect from a five star hotel very nice amenities and the gym was one of the best I’ve seen.
