Excellent front desk services, Convenient location to move about in Luzern.

This was the second room I booked at the same time for my family. According to hotel staff, the room's heater was not able to adjust. It was quite hot. The hotel staff told us to open the window. Same as another room, this room was without fridge. No tea and coffee bags provided. Very poor services. Definitely will not recommend this hotel. In the morning around 10am on 30th December 2024, I checked with front desk if we could extend checkout time for 1 hour， the male staff was rude and straightly said NO. He is in service industry. I do think he could refuse me politely. Now I have arrived at the Hyatt Place Zurich Airport the Circle, the lady at the front desk was very polite and extended my check out time by 2 hours that I did not ask for. How come Hotel Astoria can provide that kind ofpoor quality of services and survive, is that because they are in Lucerne??? !!!!!!!

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth Four Stars We spent one night at the Hotel Astoria in Lucerne and were unfortunately very disappointed. The first surprise came upon arrival: After parking our car in the hotel's TÜV garage, we were only told afterward that parking costs CHF 55 per night – a very high price that should have been clearly communicated beforehand. The room itself was also anything but convincing. The furnishings were old and not beautifully designed, and the overall decor seemed poorly designed and outdated. The carpeting was particularly unpleasant – extremely dirty and unhygienic. I avoided walking barefoot because, to be honest, I was disgusted. The bed was also unusually made – instead of one large blanket, there were two single ones, which was neither cozy nor practical. For almost CHF 400 per night, we would have expected considerably more. Overall, the room was neither comfortable nor clean and in no way matched the price level or what one would expect from a hotel of this category. Conclusion: Our stay at the Hotel Astoria was a huge disappointment – ​​the value for money was absolutely not there. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the hotel.

It can be said that you live in the center of the tourist attractions, very close to the station, and convenient for boat rides. You can also go for a stroll along the river in the old city at night.

The room is spacious, but the bathroom is disproportionately small, especially where you shower. It is about 8 minutes away from the train station. It is prosperous but quiet. There are supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, etc. nearby.

The hotel is close to the train station. The location is easy to find. It's about 10 minutes' walk away. It's just a bus ride away. The room is quite big. I booked a triple room. The double bed is comfortable. The single bed is a sofa bed. It's generally comfortable. In the evening, it's downstairs. A loud noise from the crowd at the bar was heard.

The hotel is a good value for money hotel in Switzerland. It is clean and well located, very close to Lucerne train station.

The triple room is in the corner, and 1/2 of the room wall is windows. To take a shower, you need to take a shower in a narrow bathtub. There is a glass partition next to the bathtub. I am 161cm tall and weigh 49kg. When washing my hair, my elbows will hit the glass (because the faucet is on the side of the partition). People who are bigger than me will have a hard time taking a shower, and it is impossible to bathe a child here. The room provides a bottle of water and a bottle of sparkling water, that's all. There is no coffee or tea, no refrigerator, and the bath towel is a bit gray. The attitude of the front desk is average. Accommodation is charged per person, 80chf for more. Be careful with children over 2 years old, as they will be charged, even if they use existing beds. When checking out from Zurich, there was a long queue at the front desk to check in. There was no one here during the peak check-in period. In the photo, one person was asking questions and the other was preparing to pick up the luggage and leave. It is not recommended to stay here. Avoid pits.

The room is nice, the transportation nearby is also very convenient, the front desk was very friendly when checking in, except that if you bring children, each child will be charged an additional 100 Swiss francs per night, but there is no other way

The room facilities and hygiene are satisfactory, the front desk service is very good, it is a suitable hotel for traveling here, and I will come again.
