"absolute love the Intercon hotel three nights stay with the warm courteous staff, wide range varieties of breakfast, very kid friendly five-star hotel, our family love the beach, the kid pool and the kid activities assigned each day, it created loads of memories and the hotel room is really spacious and clean as well. we have no doubt to live it again if we come to PhuQuoc again!"

"Positioned as one of the more luxurious offerings on the island, the Regent is a good mix of luxury and fun having many daily complimentary activities to add to the many facilities that they already have. The afternoon cruise (which is an add on) was well staffed and the service team made the experience particularly enjoyable (from paddle boarding to fishing). While the beach was very clean, this is shared between the other IHG properties like the intercontinental next door making this feel less exclusive for the price tag of the hotel. Overall a great experience but the upcoming Park Hyatt will be an interesting alternative for guests looking to spend within the same price range."

"Having stayed at Regent prior to the stay here, I would say the main differential would be the warmth in staff service found here, amazing beach with finer sands and clearer water, and the colonial touch to the rooms. Of course the kiss of the sea show also adds to the experience, especially the last 5mins of firework, what a blast indeed. Rarely had the chance to have firework blasting overhead so close up. Last but not least, want to give a HUGE shoutout to Kaori - starting from the very second of me stepping into the hotel compound, she has paid tremendous care to tend to my mom’s and my needs, and really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoy our stay here. Infinite gratitude to her and she would be the reason why I would want to revisit JW in near future ＜3"

"We arrived very late on the day. The children are very happy when enter the room until there is one room the air-con is broken and on top of that one of the bed have sand inside. The worst is day after the room service the other bed have sand and they only make bed don’t change the bedding for the room service. The some of the new towels smell of smoke, so becareful when using them. I think just my room I come across like 3. But I don’t know about other. Room service will take 1 hr which is quite standard. The water from the villa maybe is from a tank above the building, I constantly can smell and taste mud from the water, and hot water will run out it everyone use the shower at the same time. There is an accident that they sent us to wrong breakfast area, which is fine but they don’t immediately sent us back to the right one, and let us wait for another buggy. Hair conditioner is run out just after 3 nights (one 1 used it, which mean they didn’t check up and refill) Generally the hotel quality is around 3 stars. However their room services respond very fast. They fix the aircon overnight (even is quite noisy but I think they should make sure the room is okay before the guest arrival) They come in very quickly if you request towels/water. Just the quality is not 5 stars. If you don’t ask them they will not provide you. As for bedding I think they come with sand that why even the replacement still have sand."

"Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The villa was spacious and perfect for a family trip — clean and set in a beautiful environment. However, there are a few things to note: If you’re afraid of bugs, this may not be the best choice. We encountered quite a few bugs inside the villa, and I even stepped on millipedes twice during our 4-night stay. Unfortunately, while housekeeping tidied the room and changed towels, they didn’t clean the blood stains left behind. The water pressure was quite weak throughout the stay. Breakfast was great, with a good variety. But I did notice some hygiene issues — for example, a few guests picked bread with their hands instead of using the tongs provided, and there was no staff around to remind or guide them. Front desk service needs improvement. When we bought cable car tickets through the hotel, they had to take photos for the entrance process. However, the staff member didn’t give any signal or communication when the photo was taken, which caused confusion. During checkout, it was raining. We had one suitcase, one hand-carry bag, and a plastic shopping bag. The staff placed our hand-carry bag directly on the wet ground, making the bottom dirty, while they put the plastic shopping bag on top of the suitcase — this seemed careless. They also asked what our plans were after checkout (our flight was at night), and we mentioned we might try the hotel spa. But instead of assisting, the staff just told us we had already paid and could go pay directly at the spa. They didn’t give us any further information — no directions, opening hours, or what services were available. It gave us the impression that once you’ve checked out, they’re no longer interested in helping. Tips for future guests: • Bring extra swimsuits if you plan to swim multiple days. There’s no dryer or drying rack unless you pay for laundry, and sudden rain is common. • The hotel offers some activities like kayaking and yoga, but these are often fully booked, so try to reserve early."
