Service: Fortunately, there are freshly made knife-cut noodles, steamed buns, steamed bread, porridge, etc. for breakfast, which satisfies the Chinese stomach. All the chefs are Chinese, and the Chinese food ordered for dinner is also good. The portion is also good. However, the hotel facilities are old and dirty, and the room smells of old cigarettes. I will not book next time.

The room manager is very nice, a young sunny boy. The room is OK, but the restaurant is not very good. The food is not good. The breakfast is not good. There are no fried dough sticks, pickled mustard tubers, or fermented tofu.

Like your previous reviewer, we stayed at the Peacock aroiund mid-July. During an expensive and mediocre dinner, I looked up to see a rat running across the dining room floor, Then another and another. My partner then spotted at least two more making a total FIVE RATS!!! We too asked to discuss this with the Manager but nobody was forthcoming.In any other country this place would be shut down immediately - so I can only guess that the Chinese Owners have being bribing the Health Inspector.
