One of the best hotels I've stayed in Africa, the hotel staff is well-trained and very service-minded. The breakfast is very rich, with European characteristics, and a variety of cheeses!

Very good hotel, large room with good bed, clean, very good breakfast, very friendly staff.

The room was OK and clean. It is one of the few decent hotels in Angola.

The hot water kettle was out of use and the hotel staff came to take care of it immediately. It was very good.

Excellent fully equipped business hotel in Luanda. Two swimming pools. Huge gymnasium. Steam,Turkish bath and spa. Rooftop Japanese restaurant. Request high floor and sea facing room when checking in. Very spacious hotel. Good for meetings and events.

The washrooms always get clogged and SINK OVERFLOWS, they do a temporary clean up and it happens again and again, DO NOT ever get cocktails by the pool or the hotel . Absolute cheat, they literally give u just juice and sugar, no alcohol in the drinks and is a waste of money. The hotel is alright and has a good gym and pool side but the pool water is kept VERY COLD hence no one actually swims in it. Poorly managed hotel but if not it would have been great.

My sister and I spent 9 days at this hotel. The bed was comfortable although the level of cleanliness could be improved. It wasn't a major issue. Breakfast was good and some staff friendly. So all seemed to have been OK until we returned home. I found that one of my perfume bottles had been emptied. Someone appeared to have used a syringe to remove the perfume from the bottle and used a different cover so that it wasn't noticeable. See pictures attached. As soon as i realised this I messaged the hotel and within 10 minutes someone replied that their staff had denied any involvement. No proper investigation, just asking staff. They didn't seem to worry that someone amongst their staff members is stealing from their guests.... in a very professional way. So if you want to use this hotel, USE THE SAFE. Shame it's not big enough!

Considered the best in Luanda, Epic Sana is surely a very good hotel. Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with necessary amenities. It has a good sports center and gym. It offers different, and equally good dining options. Breakfast is the best I have had so far in Southern Africa with all allergens clearly displayed. So I would definitely recommend it. Only two slightly negative remarks. A couple of times, particularly over the week end, I went to the gym and hung the sign "make up my room" on my door. After 90m I would have expected it to be made so that I could have a shower and resume working. This was not the case. I have some food allergy. A couple of times I asked some small variations to my dinner such as having rice instead of french fries as side order. It should not make any difference, or they could have charged extra. Instead they refused or told me that if I had wanted rice i should have ordered steak as main dish and nor shrimps

This hotel serves horrible food. I had to send something back as it was fool of bones and very poor quality meat. An employee named Domingos came to my room and insisted I pay for it even though I sent it back in its entirety. What restaurant in the world charges for food that is sent back? All the restaurants here only have menus with QR codes which is extremely annoying. Have also had several problems with the appliances in my room. I can’t recommend this hotel. The staff are poorly trained and the general manager is unresponsive to emails.

Rooms are well designed with comfortable bed and excellent working desk. I also found the variety of restaurants in the hotel was great. The hotel was quiet and good for business meetings and/or meeting friends and family in the available lounges. One thing to watch for: people still smoke indoors; in public places including bar and restaurants!

Stayed here twice, a total of 5 nights. Excellent comfort, amazing service and fantastic food and drinks. Loved the breakfast! Bathrooms had big luxurious showers. Highly recommend a happy hour gin and tonic on the patio by the pool. Customer service was incredible, very friendly and accommodating.

First time in Angola, so everything was new to me. Also no real expectation. Pleasantly surprised with the very helpful staff and smooth operations of the hotel. Lovely views from the 14th floor room, over the city to the "inner harbour" and the island beyond. Clean and comfortable rooms - and importantly two large bottles of water. Stayed overnight and had a good pool-side wedding anniversary dinner.
