Spread Eagle

We went for the best room with a bath in the room. The room was excellent. The staff were lovely. I would go back again. Wandsworth wasnt far from where we wanted to go and it had loads of bars / restaurants. I would recommend the room we had and will be back when we go to London again. It is close to a bus route and train route

This is the second time we have stayed here. My son bought us a voucher last year, then we decided we’d come again for this visit too. It was actually cheaper than the local premier inn. The hotel rooms are stunning, really beautifully decorated, attention to detail is evident all round the rooms. The pub is a lovely traditional place. Really lovely. We only had room only so can comment on breakfast. We did have some sharing plates on one evening. The only thing I found negative( but didn’t spoil our stay) was not enough bar staff. For a Saturday night the service was very slow. Will definitely come and stay here again when visiting my son. Great location too.

We picked Spread Eagle based on reviews and because it was a short taxi ride to Wimbledon. The hotel was cute, and the decor gave the rooms a cool boutique hotel vibe. The hotel and restaurant staff were outstanding! They were always friendly and accommodating. There were a few minor issues with the the room/amenities that we didn't think were worth addressing given our short stay; plus, they didn't substantively detract from the overall excellent experience. This place is ideal if you want an updated, clean, nicely-sized room, with a cool vibe outside of central London. Definitely take advantage of the delicious breakfast or enjoy a pint with your fish and chips at the Spread Eagle Pub next door.

We stayed a Monday night at Spread Eagle & included in our room price was breakfast & dinner - both of which were delicious! We could not have had a more comfortable stay & cannot fault the staff who were all extremely helpful & welcoming. The recently refurbished pub is immaculate & clean whilst retaining all its Victorian charm. The rooms were quiet & beautifully furnished too. We cannot recommend Spread Eagle enough & will be back.

We would normally stay in one of the big branded hotels in the city, we thought we’d go off piste and try something different. No regrets. , fabulous service, lovely room and attached to an excellent pub/restaurant. Breakfast was particularly welcome, beautifully presented and great choice. I’d def stay here again.

This was my third time staying in this hotel. Cozy rooms, nice and clean, lovely and helpful staff, both in reception and at breakfast. The location might seem a little bit off if you are planning on spending most of your time in the tourist areas. However, the train from Wandsworth town station (approx. 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel) takes you to Waterloo station in 15-20 minutes and then you are right in the middle of everything. I will definately return to this hotel again. Highly recommened it!
