Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Great location although not great soundproofing to outside noise. It was helpful to have usb charging as well as standard plug sockets in the room. 2 extra pillows provided in the room and very clean towels and bed linen. The curtains could have done with being a bit thicker so if you wake easily from the sunlight, consider wearing an eye mask.

This was the worst twin room we’ve ever stayed in. So tiny. No tables near beds. Not even a phone in room. Bathroom soooo tiny. Very noisy late with people coming back to rooms. Very noisy from 7.00 a.m with people banging doors and talking very loud. For the money charged £145 was disgusting. Wall Lights near beds didn’t work and tv would not turn off. Only good thing was location for The Palladium and there was plenty of hot water. Would definitely not stay here again.

Reception guy is always friendly and welcoming. The hotel feels a little run down, but if you look past that it’s a comfy clean bed, big room, in the centre of London - ideal. Really good price.

The hotel is in a prime location, just a five-minute walk from the subway station. There are a variety of restaurants and shopping malls around, making travel very convenient. The overall environment is very clean, the room is cleaned every day, and the bedding and bathroom supplies are very clean

I feel the service attitude is good, but the room is small. However, the location is very good. It is only a few minutes' walk from the British Museum. There are also milk tea shops and many restaurants nearby.

The location is quite good! It's a 4-minute walk to the British Museum and a 15-minute walk to the National Gallery. It's surrounded by Chinatown and Oxford Street. The room is a bit small, but the facilities are complete. Overall, it's good.

It seems like you're bothering me. At the end of my stay they didn't want to give me the receipt.

This lock can be opened with a little force. The soundproofing was very poor, and there were people chatting in the middle of the night. The quality of the guests is very poor, it feels like an underground hotel in the UK. The room is extremely small. It was so worn that it had to be returned the next day and was non-refundable. Ctrip is lying when it recommends this kind of hotel. Definitely not as good as a student apartment. I would rather not get my money back than stay here. Extremely poor.

Response from Property: Dear Guest ,Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we greatly appreciate all visitor feedback as it helps us to make necessary improvements. We are delighted to hear that you found our cleaning to be of a high standard, as well as our prime central London location. We hope that this enabled you to enjoy all that the city has to offer! We are sorry to hear that you found the bed to be too small, as we are situated in a Victorian style build the room sizes reflect this and we have to adjust accordingly. If you are to choose to stay with us in the future, we highly recommend upgrading to a larger room to better fit your needs. Thank you for choosing The Cheshire Hotel, London, we look forward to welcoming you in the future! Best wishes,

I don't know if it's opened by Indians or if there are many Indians living here. It smells really bad and the room is very small. The advantage is that it's near the museum and very convenient.

The location is very good. I don’t know why. It didn’t show that I needed to pay a deposit of 200 pounds before I placed the order. It showed that I needed to pay a deposit of 200 pounds after I paid. Not many hotels in Europe require a deposit, so in the end they didn't charge me the deposit. Also, you can only store your suitcase for free for 2 hours. I was charged 10 pounds for 5 hours. My other hotels in London have always left luggage for free, with no set hours. Most of the staff are friendly, except for one Indian female staff member who has a slightly arrogant and impatient attitude.
